in beta right now it works only from certain angle. you cant be behind the Morgrain or the quest wont start. weird

To complete this quest you need to confront Baron Vyraz about the death of Margrave Krexus.
Talk to Alexandros to start the quest. Baron Vyraz will come to meet you and the fight starts.
All you need to do is deal some damage (Alexandros tanks well) until Baron Vyraz gets invunerable.

Quests Words of the Primus, Request of the Highlord and A Glimpse into Darkness are literally not in the storyline, they just link Maldraxxus and the next quest zone.

Don't be mounted! The action button to start the fight only appears if you're not mounted.

Quest didnt complete for me the first time round because I died. I killed it to sub 30% but still nothing so I forfieted and started again. This time the quest completed once I got him to 90% and then I flew off on my ride.

The quest started normally for me, but Alexandros didn't do anything on his own until one of Vyraz's attacks hit him. Just in case anyone else thinks he's bugged - try to get Vyraz to hit him. (I was definitely about to die otherwise.)

The quest will not start if you are in Ghost Wolf(shaman) form.

At least it didnt for me.

Quest bugged for me when I got him to 90% while the channeling npcs were still alive. Kill them asap.

1 In Death We Are Truly Tested	Quest start from Alexandros Mograine 41.3 60.6 Use extra bar Claim Rune after that Confront Baron Vyraz but you will be taken ( good He is to stron xD )
2 The Door to the Unknown	Stand on blue mark on ground is on top of platform and use on extra bar Unlock Door will be a video. After animation move inside to 49.5 54.5 to finish quest and reach achievement Blade of the Primus. wait few sec for NPC to start next quest
3 Words of the Primus	Go back to Oribos and speak with Overseer Kah-Delen 54.6 54.5
4 Request of the Highlord	Go to Highlord Bolvar Fordragon 40.2 68.5
5 A Glimpse into Darkness	Press on Helm of Domination you will see movie then listen to the conversation. Storyline is finish :)

To expand on what Rohenna said, you only need to start the fight with Baron Vyraz; you don’t need to defeat him. Once the fight has begun, lead him to Alexandros Mograine who will then engage the Baron. Every so often Baron Vyraz will summon allies to join the fight — you should fight those lesser enemies rather than the boss. After a sufficient amount of time a dragon will come to fly you out of there and complete the quest.

Whatever you do, DO NOT abandon the quest after the fighting starts. I did this and now Morgraine is stuck in combat with Vyraz and I cannot pick the quest back up again to move forward. I've hearthed, left the zone. done everythign I can think of. Vyraz is still there fighting Morgraine, and he has no quest for me

Once this fight starts all you need to do is kill the 4 adds that show up, that's it. The whole fight is on a timer I think, you don't need to fight big boss guy at all.

You must be UNMOUNTED when you accept the quest. The action bar will not be available and the quest giver will not call the baron to start the fight. if you are. If you have already accepted while you were mounted, you will need to abandon the quest and start again unmounted

The dialogue surrounding this quest:

Alexandros Mograine yells: Vyraz! Show yourself!

Voice of the Primus whispers: The relentless pursuit of victory.

Baron Vyraz says: So the mortal returns, along with our wayward baron. The constructs failed to finish you, and so did the Maw. How disappointing.
Alexandros Mograine says: Your schemes have brought about your own ruin. Now we will end you!
Baron Vyraz says: Foolish Mograine, always valuing loyalty over might. But victory lies in one's choice of allies. And with their help, I now claim the mantle of margrave!
Alexandros Mograine says: I will bury my blade in your skull, traitor! For Krexus!

Baron Vyraz yells: I bested Krexus himself! You two are nothing!
Alexandros Mograine yells: We will avenge him here and now!
Alexandros Mograine yells: You cannot win, Vyraz! You are outnumbered!
Baron Vyraz yells: Fool! All the houses of Maldraxxus stand against you!

It might happen that the NPC provided will not react upon you entering combat
(since you are not fighting in the required sector that's close enough to him)

Make sure that if you charge towards Baron Vyraz

but still want Alexandros Mograine to be involved into that battle,
you might want to double-check whether you went ahead a bit too far without Alexandros "noticing" it.

Just step back a little so that you get his tanking and damage along the way.

All other than that, just as others mentioned:

The goal is not to defeat or just attack Baron Vyraz (and get his health bar down to a certain percentage or amount)
but rather that you trigger all the things he does and all the reinforcements he calls,
once he's pulled all the tricks from his sleeve the thing will be through and trigger it to carry on.

So in this fight your just pretty much attacking everything else but Vyraz. Attack the banners he puts down and the adds and the fight will go quickly. If you just attack him the fight will take forever.

Description

Vyraz is the one who trapped me within the Maw. He has long been in league with the House of Rituals and the House of Constructs. No doubt he intended to trap you within that hellish place as well. It is time he be brought to justice for his treason. Stand with me, and we will face him as one.
