Time to Collect is available at the front of Horde bank building in Dalaran right after you completed What a Ripoff!.
Your character also needs to be level 110 to see the quest.

Just soloed this as a 789 BM hunter, was pretty tough but doable.
They both do their lethal ability at 66% and 33% - but you can survive with turtle+exhilaration.
Bring the one on the ground to 66%, survive his ability, then keep dps'ing him and stop at 35%.
Put your pet on passive and just use mend pet on cd, then attack the one on the boat. It will take a lot to bring him down since your pet needs to be down tanking the other one.
When the one on the boat is at 5%, be sure to have turtle+exhilaration ready, kill the other one fast, then kill him. They need to die together or they respawn.
You also need to have a spirit beast as pet to heal yourself.

MM Hunter: ilvl 800

Popped all cooldowns on pull and the 2 ranged focused down the goblin on the ship, while the DH held the Rocket Shredder on the side. DH died as we killed the ship goblin and all we did was exchange aggro (and a death or two) so that one of us were always alive.

You need to swim to the small island north of the bigger one with the quest objective at 68.67 20.19

Here you will find the first place to use you Stormforged Grapple Launcher wich you will need to reach the top of the island.
Simply kite the shredder until he goes Haywire, then jump up the zepplin until the haywire is over.
Repeat untill you killed them.

Offered by Gazrix Gearlock outside the horde bank at 110 for gear rewards once you have completed Put It All on Red (which rewards What a Ripoff!).

This quest will reward you with gear and the achievement Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Goblins which gives the title "the Gullible."

Easy for Boomkin (or someone who can Root/cc). Just kill the Shredder 1st by using Displacer Beast/Wild Charge plus Typhoon/Stun and Roots. Pewpew root and heal. Don't stay on the Ship at all and just jump down to finish killing Shredder.

Once Shredder is dead, get on the Ship and repeat basically. Don't let him get close to you and root to heal (you can out range his explosive blast). Jump down when needed (or if you are about to die) and jump back up.

A new shredder spawned cause I took so long, just avoid it.

Prot warriors can blow through this no problem. I was around 785 when I did it, just keep Ignore Pain up and you'll be fine.

As a demonology warlock all my pets when targeting the goblin on the zeppelin were spawning below on the cliff making attacking him useless. So I made a 3 man group where the strat was the other 2 (rogue, monk) would focus Snaggle on the zep and I was on Rax in the shredder. No point in hooking to the zep when the shredder overchages (more pet problems maybe), I was able to absorb plus heal through it at ilvl 800.

Took me almost 30min to solo this as Vengeance DH with 802 ilvl and with my Aldrachi Warblades with item level 821 . Since you have to kill them almost at the same time I had to constantly jump from the zepelin to the ground and vice versa. As Vengeance , the self heal make up for the damage they do but still I had to constantly move from their bombs and attacks.

In the end I got Snaggle's Favorite Pants as a quest reward and Sixtrigger Lucky Ring as well as the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Goblins which gives a realy funny title "The Gullible"

Be careful soloing this as Rax (the mech) will respawn if you're slow. He won't rejoin the fight unless you aggro him. I'd assume Snaggle (gunship bro) would respawn as well, so it's probably best to kill Rax first, since he's easily avoidable if you're careful when jumping off the ship. Still got the key just fine off of Snaggle after killing both.

Solo'd as i799 holy paladin - heal yourself a lot, especially during flamethrower and explosive blast casts. Don't forget to stun.

Upon death, Rax says, "Bury me with my money." This is a quote from the 1993 SNES Konami game, "Sunset Riders"! The first boss, Simon Greedwell, says this after you defeat him. At the beginning, he says "It's time to pay!" which may be a reference to the quest title in-game, "Time to Collect."

Not many people in my guild understood the reference, am I grasping for straws? Hahah.

If you are a gnomish engineer, you can get there by flying to Stormtorn Foothills. Proceed to 64, 24 on the Storm's Reach peninsula. Use your Gnomish Gravity Well and a goblin glider when you are high enough to make it. Aim for the northern part of the island since it slopes down hill. Was able to land at lower yellow patch of grass at 68, 24 no problem 1st try.

As an enhancement shaman at ilvl 796, I can kill Rax pretty easily, but Snaggle gives me trouble, because the zeppelin doesn't seem to count as fully solid ground. I can't put down a lightning surge totem and my spirit wolves, like everyone elses' pets, kind of glitch.

So far, worst quest ever. As a shadow priest with very little self healing abilities now and a bubble that doesn't protect you from any damage really, this is next to impossible. The delay in the grapple gun kills me every time. I hate what Blizzard has done to my spec so much, I'm considering wiping it and starting over with something else... like an OP demon hunter.

Remember to hit the Escape key right after your grapple launcher lands. This makes you grapple to the end of the line without having to wait those 2 or 3 seconds. (Which can greatly reduce the amount of damage you take in this fight.) (If you hit Escape too soon, you cancel the action, though.)

I had a very strange encounter.

Once I killed the shredder, the guy on the zeppelin regained all his health back up to 100%, I decided to persevere anyway, and hope for the best. After about 1 minute the shredder respawned on the ground, but I decided to ignore that as well. I was able to jump off the ship at pistol barrage, far enough away from the shredder so I didn't aggro him.

When I killed the guy on the zeppelin I was able to loot him for the key regardless that the shredder had respawned. So if you think you're doing it correctly, persevere and keep killing them, it appears bugged but it is do-able.

As a disc priest, 800ilvl, can solo by killing the shredder first (move away and heal/absorb through the haywires), then hooking to the zep. For the one in the zep, when he does his pistol barrage, jump down at the end away from the re-spawned shredder (it will ignore you) and heal up madly until it's time to jump back on the zep. Kill the one on the zep, take the key, open the chest. Long fight, but worth it. And yes, you have to run around a lot.

These two scumbags can be a challenge to kill.

They hit pretty hard since they're elites, but more importantly they reset after a while. If you don't kill them both within the same brief time period they'll reset and won't drop their key.

The solution, ultimately, is to put out enough damage to kill them both within a little less than a minute of one another. Don't be afraid to bring a friend or two to burn them down, they aren't easy to solo.

Oh, and their loot chest will also give you this ring. So there's technically two 820 ilevel rewards for killing them.

When I accepted the quest the quest rewards were listed as my choice of either Rax's Polished Greaves or Rax's Piloting Handgrips, just like the quest reads here.

I completed the quest and received Sixtriggers' Key.

I turned in the key and received the crate and Sixtrigger Lucky Ring as expected. However I did not see any gear choices and only received the crate and ring. My friend who plays a mage also did not receive a choice for legs or hands.

I've opened a ticket on this, but I wanted to know if I missed something. Is this broken?

Fun quest line! (Which I did enjoy) Dugi quest helper says the quest(s) are optional because they don't yield much in the way of experience or reward.

During the quest chain, you know your getting ripped off (or have that feeling), but it isn't until you hit 110 before you get some payback.

Start a custom group "Time to collect", myself (Fire mage) and two hunters did very well.
Killed Rax Sixtrigger in the shredder first (when he goes Haywire! jump up to the Zepplin.
When Snaggle Sixtrigger starts Pistol Barrage jump down to the ground.

Most important (if you are in a group and you die, quickly release and run back and help so the remaining group members don't have to finish without you.

Just thought I'd throw this in there. Both overload and Pistol Barrage can be interrupted by stuns (and I'd guess other similar CC such as blind, etc.)

This made it quite easy on my feral druid. Even with a one combo-point maim it still interrupted the spells. Took away a little from my dps but still went by reasonably fast. Don't worry about diminishing returns. All that matters is that the stun went off and interrupted the spell. I'll fully admit that having decent self heals made killing goblin much more doable, but the stuns were huge as well.

Solo Assassination Rogue ilvl 843 killed mecha-dummy, nothing to loot, then grappled to the boat (I could not grapple to boat during mecha's panic attack for some reason) and killed the dood who has swindled me for the last time. I got the choice between pants and gloves, both of which I do not need. I got the box and upon opening I received the ring, 18 fine goat hairs, a beak, 8 musken ribs, a jaw and Recipe: Spiced Rib Roast. The achieve and title are worth the effort imo. On a side note, this is a decent area to farm Wildfowl Eggs to make Faronaar Fizz for all you versatility stackers.

You can skip the climbing by going prepared, get a Goblin Glider Kit, go to the promontory facing the island, there is a path leading down to the sea, as you see the path there is a lantern on a post, I jumped from there and deployed the glider, I landed on top of the island and didn't have to climb anything.

As a tank* I didn't have many issues being able to self heal while fighting and having a ton of damage reduction.

I dealt with the shredder first and was jumping on the zeppelin only to avoid Haywire!, I found the fight easier this way; it meant that once Rax Sixtrigger was dealt with I didn't have to jump up and down any more. I took my time to finish Snaggle Sixtrigger and while he was doing all his barrage and whatnot Rax respawned, I didn't care and finished Snaggle off, looted the key and left to get my treasure.

I would suggest doing the same order, if you're slow as I was, doing Snaggle first could mean that while you're fighting Rax and jumping up and down the zeppeling you could suffer a respawn that you can't avoid.

Or just bring a solid dps and deal with it quick.

What a pain in the ass quest. The guy on the boat kept evading and healing back up and if my mage blinked he'd be off the boat. His mirror images would appear on the ground and evade the mob as well.

Just did it as a Mage (817) with a Warrior (820). The Warrior died at some point but I survived long enough for him to come back from the graveyard and get back into the fight. While he finished the shredder I lowered the gunner as much as I could then he joined me and we finished the gunner.
Definitely doable with two people with good survival skills.

Just did this solo as outlaw rogue. Killed the one in the shredder first, just moved out of the bombs and I jumped on the zeppelin when he did haywire. I noticed I could also stun him when he does haywire to stop it. Having the iron stomach talent really helped here.

Then I attacked the one on the zeppelin when I killed the other one. This one hits really hard and I had to jump off the boat to wait for my crimson vial heal and dodge the bombs, then jumped back up when I had enough health and wore him down until I finally killed it. :)

I soloed them as a fresh (770) blood DK.

I death gripped Snaggle off the zepplin and brought them down together.

Be aware if you are alone you need to avoid the bombs, rockets and haywire attacks.

Also try to bring them down at the same time. On my first attempt I took them down separately and one had re-spawned before I could bring down the other. Be aware if they re-spawn and you engage them both you have to kill them both again.

I tried doing it solo as a hunter. I thought I was doing fine. I put my pet on the shredder while I attacked the one on the boat, avoiding his bombs. Took him down fine.
Then I went to take down the shredding, leaping to the boat when needed. Before I finished off the shredder though, the one on the boat respawned and started attacking me again. Guess I didn't take the shredder down quick enough. Either that or it's bugged.

The two goblin brothers proved to be quite the challenge; nevertheless, every class is able to do it, personally I was able to do it with my Warlock with quite ease. Just be careful that sometimes, the goblin in the zeppelin can be bugged if you jump down, occurred to me once.

To me, the best part of this quest was getting vengeance for those Tauren. The title is definitely something I laughed when I saw it, since when you are doing the quests for the first time, very soon you realize that something is off.

When you finally receive the key and are able to open their stash treasure box, you are treated with various things. If you take a close look at some of the items, you will find things like Spitefeather's Beak and Patch of Fine Goat Hair, which are direct references to your previous quests where the quest was to retrieve the same item!

I will be honest, it was a nice touch by Blizzard and I chuckled when I realized what those items were about.

After one failed attempt I did it solo as a marksmanship hunter using a tanking pet. 820 ilvl. I also had Rexxar as a bodyguard.

I started by getting my pet to attack the shredder, then I started attacking the one on the ship. Rexxar also stuck to the shredder. Threw an occasional mend on the pet while I stuck to the goblin, moving now and then to avoid the bombs he threw.

Eventually I killed the goblin. First time I tried it, the one on the ship respawned before I finished the shredder. To avoid that, I popped cooldowns and burned everything on the shredder. When he started going berzerk I didn't jump to the ship straight away. I was attacking from range so I copped a bit of damage for a bit before moving (I used an exhilaration then for a self heal so I could keep damaging longer). Then I jumped to the ship when he did it again. He didn't have much health left then. I avoided a few bombs while attacking and finished him off.

A key thing is I never tried to get my pet to attack the one on the ship. Simply kept it on the shredder. I'm pretty sure this strategy would work for a warlock also.

In case you're wondering what's the quest with the worst design in the entire Legion, it's this one. Your friends can't help you unless they're on exactly the same stage of the quest. The mobs can't be kited because they respawn. There is a time window; you need to kill them soon enough or they respawn. You need to kill them close to another or they, you guessed it, respawn. And, a cherry on the top, if the opposite faction tags it before you do (even if it's just one person) you can go badonkafinkle yourself and do it all over again. Hell.

Balance druids might and advantage here with a spammable root and heavy DoTs. I'm ilvl 828 and managed to solo it. It's not hard, just long.

NOTE: You have to engage them both! I was trying to solo each one individually but they wouldn't drop the key. If I tried doing them back to back, one would respawn before I could grind the second guy down.

I run with Stellar Flare and Hurricane which might help speed things up with a 3rd DoT and a knockback to give me some range on a root cast.

General process: DoT's on boat goblin > DoT's on mech > root on mech > heal to full > nuke boat goblin > repeat

Avoid the bombs and don't let the mech get too close for long or you'll spend most of your free time healing back to full instead of laserchickening. I was able to heal myself through the overload phases but it was easier to just grapple over to the boat and root the boat goblin until the overload passed. Personal preference I guess, just make sure you keep yourself topped off after each root cast.

Make sure to get them close in health to each other before you bring them both down. I don't remember what the respawn time was on them but it wasn't long. You'll have a sad day if one respawns when the mech is still up with 2% hp.

There are two banks in Dalaran.
Netiher of them is hostile to either faction! There is NO "Horde Bank".

Loch Varmad is the smaller, more northern island which is used to gain access to
Watchman's Rock, the larger island where those murderin' scum are holed up.

Notes:
1) route starts at sea level on the small island and moves to big island from top of the small.
2) you will need to move a bit closer to the second grapple hook on the small island to be able to click it.
3) you will need to kill both Sixtriggers to get the key to The Sixtriggers' Premium Stash.
4) continue up the hill from the STASH location to reach the two bosses.

If you're having trouble as a BM hunter, make sure to take the blink strike talent. It will solve the issue of your pet not following you when you grapple by just teleporting to your target instead.

Soloable, but hard.

I did it as a Fury Warrior 834 ilvl. What I did:

* Used Thorim as a Combat Ally. Summoning him creates a stun, which stops Rax from going Haywire. He actually just runs around randomly like he does during Haywire, but does no damage; a valuable window during which to beat on him. Note that Thorim's stun does not work on Snaggle, and Thorim himself spawns beneath the zeppelin.
* Used bandages. Just craft the highest level you can use. The Silvery Salve works wonders, use it when you drop from the zeppelin when Snaggle is doing his Pistol Barrage.
* Definitely use Storm Bolt. With it, you can interrupt some of Snaggle's casts.

How are you supposed to grapple onto the ship? When he goes haywire they absolutely hit you ever .5 seconds no matter where you run to. You will not be able to initiate the grapple.

This quest was hugely a pita! Do yourself a favor and find a group instead of attempting to solo. Its doable to solo but there's a reason Blizzard put a graveyard on this rock! Don't forget the treasure chest around the corner from the shredder after the fight.

If you arrive and only one brother has spawned, WAIT.

Killing one brother before the other one is up, then killing the other afterwards, means you get NO KEY.

You must engage both brothers at the same time.

This is a bit of a pain in the ass to solo as a BM hunter as the pet pathing is complete garbage and stampede is useless to targets not on the ground.

Some tips if you just have to solo it:

Do the whole event from the ground, both you and your pet.
Make sure your pet is specced tenacity.
Put your pet on the shredder while you whittle down the brother on the boat. Use the 'move to' command to move the shredder away from you and just let your pet auto attack. Using kill command will burn them down unevenly and you'll end up with the shredder re-spawning if you kill it too early.
I'd suggest have a pet with Spirit Mend at current gear levels as you will take a bunch of unavoidable damage and every little bit helps.
Don't bother going on the boat, just make sure your pet is a decent distance away and your overload damage will be minimal.
Keep your pet healed and use Exhilaration if needed and save Last Stand to cover for any mistakes.

If you are a recent 110 character, choose the gloves over the pants for reward. You can easily buy the class-set i820 pants from the order hall after finishing the eight standard dungeons of Legion. The gloves on the other hand, requires Honored rep with Nightfallen, so it will take awhile before being eligible; this pair of gloves will suffice in the mean time.

Stupidly these mobs can't be shared between Alli and Horde. So be sure person from other faction doesn't tag Snaggle first or you won't get key.

I managed to solo this as a marksman hunter, but found a better strategy than simply changing platforms and targets. I imagine this would also work for warlocks if they could pet-tank Snaggle. I'd originally struggled with sparse heals from my spec, poor gear, my pet refusing to change platforms to tank some damage and my grappling hook functioning too slowly to avoid Rax's Haywire attack.

I spent most of the fight on the zeppelin, changing my (tenacity) pet to Passive mode and directly commanding it to attack Snaggle. This in addition to Misdirection kept them occupied with each other. I'd jump from the zeppelin when Snaggle used his Pistol Barrage attack and return afterwards.

While this was going on, I focused on shooting Rax with instant and auto attacks while running to dodge his missiles until he was dead. Then I started damaging Snaggle SLOWLY to avoid pulling threat off my pet and continued until Snaggle was dead, which was a pointed effort as he seemed resistant to Growl. By that time, Rax had respawned but remained out of combat. I had never been at risk of damage from Haywire.

I came up with this strategy after realizing that their deadlier attacks seemed to be linked to health percentages rather than time and that it was easier to fall from the Zeppelin to avoid Snaggle's attacks than it was to rely on the grappling hook to avoid Rax's Haywire.

Side note: the first time I had defeated them, it seemed like they had been "tagged" by the opposing faction despite being quest NPCs and did not drop their quest item.

Was able to solo as a fresh 110 BM hunter, ilvl around 789.

I kept pets on the shredder and focused on killing him asap. I hopped to the blimp when the shredder did lightening. On the blink I kited goblin with turtle stance. As soon as I saw the lightning from shredder end, went back down on the ground.

Might have to do this 2-3 times, bujt eventually, the shredder will die. Put pets on follow and jump on blink, pets will follow you but goblin didnt lose aggro on me. I had to jump off. The pets stayed up there and fought. I jumped on a high rock near the blink and kept shooting and kill command.

After a few minutes the shredder will respawn, ignore it, avoid bombs, stay on the rock and kill goblin. Was able to loot for key after.

Fight took 1 use of Exhilaration, 2 bandages, and 1 health pot.

Soloable as a Warlock, but a giant pain in the ass. I tried downing them one at a time, but there was no loot if the other respawned.

What ended up working was ranging Snaggle Sixtrigger down to a sliver of health and then switch to Rax. Once Rax was dead I harpooned up to the boat and finished off Snaggle. Looted the key from him and felt damn good that 30 minutes had not gone to waste.

Possible to solo as Ret paladin 836ilvl, dodge the bombs and fire, kill the shredder first and then the guy on the zepplin.

Was really fun quest. We need more quests like this, it was fun not for the rewards but for the story line of the quest and the title.

If someone has just finished doing this before you arrive, do not attempt to start the battle until both Snaggle and Rax have spawned.

If you attempt to do so, the NPC you attack will stand and do nothing for a while before just despawning.
You'll just have to wait even longer for him to come back.

solod this as a demo warlock, killed the shredder guy first with felguard up while dodging bombs, never jumped to the boat just drain life spammed through haywire and then summoned imp and killed the guy on the boat (don't pull the shredder guy when he respawns or you will wipe) you will get loot from killing shredder then boat guy even if shredder has respawned again so keep on the left side after shredder is dead (away from the side where he spawns.

First note: Impossible to solo both of them without one or the other killing you.

Second note: If you try this with the other faction helping, YOU will not get credit for it. The key will not drop no matter how many times you try this.

Third point, if engaged by more than one faction and either of them grey, it will not work..

Fourth point, the delays on haywire and the barrage from the other guy are non existent. you will get hit very quickly..

As a BM hunter, I started my pets on the shredder. The other faction tagged the goblin before I could, and he was greyed out for me. I stayed on the shredder anyway. We killed both of them at about the same time, and I was able to loot the key from the shredder and finish the quest.

I didn't have to jump to the zeppelin, but if I had, you can speed up the grappling by: 1)click the grapple hook 2)press escape key => this immediately ports you to the grappling hook.

Just soloed this as a 845 geared Affliction lock. I just dotted up the one, hooked up to the ship, dotted him up, jumped back down and repeated to keep them close to the same health percentage. Drain life heals you and your voidwalker tanks the shredder on the ground just fine.

Soloed as a 845 holy priest. I tapped them both just to be safe and then focused on Rax while on the ground, constantly moving to avoid the area bombs while nuking and healing as needed. Once Rax was down, I then focused on Snaggle (without going up to the ship) with the exact same approach. Important to note that Rax WILL respawn while fighting Snaggle, but if you keep your distance, you can avoid aggroing him while burning down Snaggle.

(Note: I had the draenei combat ally so she only appeared if summoned. I do not know if the troll combat ally will cause aggro problems with the respawned Rax since he cannot be dismissed.)

I'll also add a tip for technique:

Move around. A lot!

I focused entirely on the robot, constantly moving around and very slowly taking it down. The dude in the zeppelin throws bombs all the time. Ignore him, don't jump on the zeppelin when the robot goes crazy. Instead move away from the robot (not too far or the quest will reset) and heal as much as possible. If you can stun the robot, also use the time to heal. Eventually, the robot will go down. Heal completely before grappling up to the zeppelin. I needed to jump down to the ground once when he started shooting but otherwise the goblin dude was a straightforward and fairly easy kill.

When I did this, the robot respawned but stayed off in the corner of the area.

I completed this solo on my first attempt as an 843 ilvl shadow priest. It was a bit hairy at times, but basically start on the ground and kite the shredder until he uses haywire. Use your grapple to jump onto the ship until haywire ends then jump back down. Repeat until the shredder is dead, at which point the goblin will heal to full. Jump onto the ship and kill the goblin. You will want to save any long cooldowns (eg dispersion and vampiric embrace) for this part as this is when I took the most damage, particularly from pistol barrage. I didn't want to jump off the ship because the shredder had respawned and I didn't want to risk either pulling it or bugging out the fight.

Out of habit, I used fade at one point on the ship and my champion made the goblin evade. I moved into melee range of the goblin and it fixed the issue.

It also might be worth mentioning that I had the help of the 4 set class armor bonus (50% reduced damage taken when below 35% health). This definitely helped me towards the end of the encounter, as well as bubble plus shadow mend.

As a Demonology Lock I found that the easiest way to defeat this was to put my felguard on the one in the shredder while I attacked the one in the balloon (and dodge the bombs). What you want to do is stop short of killing the one in the blimp and use Hand of Gul' dan on him every 30 seconds to a minute to keep him from regaining his health while you help burn down the shredder. The moment the shredder drops go all out on the other mob and if done right he will drop in 30 seconds or so and you can grapple up and get the key.

This bugged out on me on my 847 fire mage. Burned the guy in the shredder down, jumped up and went to work on the one in the zeppelin. By the time I got him down the shredder guy had respawned. Jumped down there and killed him again, Zeppelin guy back in action. I don't know if their deaths need to be within a certain time period of each other or if this was just a weird fluke.

Solo as a 110 Ice Mage

Kill the Rax without grappling up to ship, just avoid the bombs and shredder while pop corning dps on him and slowing him down as much as you can, then go up top and when pistol whip comes out jump down , ice block shield whatever...

Takes a while but its totally doable, did it on my second attempt.

As an ilvl 789 Blood DK I was able to solo.

I started off with the mech and kited in circles as the grenades were dropped. Just stay out of the detonation radius and you will be fine. Use your cooldowns and with a bit of patience you'll kill him.

After the mech, I went on the boat and killed off the other. The mech did re-appear, but didn't engage at all.

Completed quest today with Guardian Druid. Somethings to share:
(1) Access large island from smaller island to the north. I stealthed in kitty form to avoid critters. Use grappling hook to access larger island.
(2) Be patient. Focus more on survival than damage. I used Barkskin, Ironfur, and Survival Instincts as they were available. Used Mighty Bash to have time to cast Switmend, Healing Touch, and other healing spells.
(3) Keep moving. If you stand still I imagine you will die.
(4) Pay attention. You will get a message telling you to access the zeppelin. When safe return and continue fight.
Try to enjoy it.

This quest will be available to pick up after you done Put It All on Red from Snaggle Sixtrigger — final quest of chain headed to What a Ripoff!. There's Gazrix Gearlock located next to horde bank entrance in Dalaran — here. He'll tell you, where goblins can be found Storheim, 49 27. It's an island, go to 68.3 20.3 point, and use Stormforged Grapple Launcher to reach brothers. Ok, this quest isn't easy for some specs, Rax Sixtrigger and Snaggle Sixtrigger have 10 mil hp each and should be killed at the "same time" (1 minute). Rax sometimes cast fire aoe and you have to jump to Snaggle to avoid that. The trouble is a damage, if you cant heal with any spell, the fight gonna be very hard. You also will earn Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Goblins achievement.

On completion of this quest you will gain...

Yeah some XP, and your choice of two equips as listed - but you also get an item called Sixtrigger Resouce Crate that drops a bunch of other junk.

I got the following:

sixtrigger's lucky ring
Patch of Fine Goat Hair x16
Spitefeather's Beak
Meaty Rack of Musken Ribs x8
Stonefang's Jaw
Recipe: Spiced Rib Roast

As you can guess, all this is the crap you collected for them, and sells for a fair bit more than the junk you got swindled with the first time.

Incidentally, I was partied up for this, since an Unholy DK struggles solo. The key dropped for me, but the other guy got ripped off, as the guy despawned, and subsequent kills didn't drop.

I reported this to support, but figured I'd give a heads up. Loot it quickly if you see it pop up with an item.

This is nasty for those with pets because the mechanics are just broken.

Got it done with the following strategy on my BM hunter and a spirit mend pet.

Kill the shredder. The boat boss was immune to any cc I used so I just avoided his aoe while killing shredder. Save big heals and defensive CD's for haywire spell from shredder.
After shredder dies, DO NOT jump on the boat, but stand UNDER with your pet and you'll easily both kill the boat boss. Avoiding his AOE is easy.
The shredder will probably have respawned after killing the boat boss, so kill him AGAIN before the other respawns and your are done.

I looted the key from the shredder, completed the quest on the big nearby chest and got all the loot.

** Note that I did try summoning pet #1 on the ground, then going on the boat and summoning a different pet. It worked but pet #2 disappeared after a few seconds down under the boat and the spells could not be used.

Somewhat hard but soloable. 827 ilevel moonkin I was able to down them. I made sure to tag them both before I started working on them and throwing myself heal. Took about 3 or 4 minutes to get both killed (not at the same time) and the second one dropped the key for me. The first one had respawned but was never pulled so if you solo and one respawn, avoid pulling them and the first kill you got should still count.

I'd suggest getting help anyway.

Managed to do it solo with a resto druid and my class hall bodyguard. It will be boring and may take a while, but your bodyguard are surprisingly sturdy.

I suspect other healer class or even just people using a bodyguard combat ally would be able to solo it as well.

Solo'd today as a fresh 110 marksman hunter iLVL 800. I had to kite the guy mech in a big circle keeping him concussed the entire time. Once he was down I swapped to the one on the ship. He would evade bug and gain a chunk of health back every few moments, but I was able to finally get him killed.

The biggest issue was it took so long that the mech would respawn. So when the mech was back up I would stand on the far left edge, just moving in a triangle pattern to avoid any bombs hitting me. Even with the mech up, it still counted as a kill and I was able to grab the key from the body on the zeppelin.

As a frost dk the easiest way to kill them for me was using Koltira as my bodyguard, first killing the mech on the ground then grabing the goblin for zeppelin which caused mech to respawn but as I didn't engage him he would not attack me. Definitely do this with higher gear (840+) to get it fast done.

Just soloed this as a Fury Warrior, ilvl 864. Wasn't easy, but was doable. Started the fight with full health (3.034M) ended it with 722K. Had to use a Ancient Healing Potion and pop Enraged Regeneration. I killed the dude on the zeppelin first, and before I jumped down I did a little bandaging with a Silkweave Splint, which I probably didn't need, but my screen was flasin'. ;)

If you can, bring a friend (or two.) If you're geared, go try to solo it. It was a fun fight. =)

I was able to solo this as a ilvl839 BM hunter. This is a detailed BM guide for any hunters struggling with this quest.

Dismiss your pets, then start on the ship because pet management is the key to this fight and this makes the first jump much easier.

Don't summon your pets until after you've engaged the goblin (one Auto Shot is enough). Then as soon as your pets have the goblin run to the other end of the ship and the guy on the ground should follow you stay at that end, this will be important later, and you're now free to kite the bombs on the ship.

When you jump down do so where the goblin is as soon as the goblin starts talking. The mechanical will now take about 5-7sec to engage and run to where you are, this is enough time to cast Pet Follow and get your pets off the ship.

kite the bombs in the back half (near the cliff face) so you're not standing on one when you jump back up.

When the goblin shouts again jump back up. Cast Exhilaration while you're in the air and Aspect of the Turtle as soon as you land, together they will heal you for 60% (Assuming you've got 3/3 Mimiron's Shell) and give you 8sec to safely cast Pet Follow and get your pets onto the ship. You may need a health pot in a few moments as well.

The goblin should die now but don't make the mistake relaxing and thinking you're done just yet. Jump down, cast Pet Follow and finish off the mechanical.

I used the standard single target raid talents and my pet set to ferocity because you can use Heart of the Phoenix to instantly rez your pet to full health and the extra dps is really helpful.

Also have Growl off and only use it when you're being beat up and struggling to kite. This is because your pets do a pretty good job of switching tanking amongst themselves which keeps them alive for longer.

Finally don't Feign Death because doing so will make them despawn and you'll have to start again.

Solo'd as 778 Fire Mage with 3 ranks of Cauterizing Blink. Kill ground first, then zeppelin.

Rax/Ground: Use Scorch, Blast Wave, Frost Nova, and Blink to keep him kited at all times. I just took the damage from his super ability (when he goes mad at 66% and 33%) and kept Blink on cooldown to heal back up.

Snaggle/Zeppelin: Stay on the ground, dodge bombs, and use Scorch/Living Bomb/Pyroblast to kill him. Note: A new Rax eventually respawns, which should be avoided by standing near the zepplin.

Occasionally, their health would restore a 5% to 10%, but I just kept dps'ing them until they eventually died. Use the Grapple Point to loot the quest item from Snaggle. The drawback is this method required nearly 20 minutes, but I found it's a way to improve kiting/dps skills, etc.

Me and another person, both BM hunters, duo this guy today. Since we are BM hunters, our pets were completely useless, and we died a few times before finding a strategy that worked. Atfer killing Rax Sixtrigger, we both stood on the ground close enough so that our ranged attacks could reach Snaggle Sixtrigger up on the ship. By standing as far away to the left (if facing the ship), we managed to avoid to aggro Rax Sixtrigger when he respawned. Avoiding the bombs on the ground wasn't very hard, once we were somewhat syncronized in our movement.

No point trying to start a custom group for this. Been trying for 3 days. Of the over 150 people that joined and left, ALL were simply realm hopping and not a single one was actually joining for the quest. There has to be a way to implement a blocking of realm hopping, rather than just posting it in the notes, because people either don't read the notes, or they simply disregard them. So frustrating and discouraging that people will simply ignore a simple request like "no hoppers" when there are ALWAYS plenty of custom groups advertising strictly for hoppers. Blizz?

As a Demonology Warlock with 825 gear I killed the shredder just bopping back and forth under the ship and didn't even have to board during his 'phases', however once I got to the boss I was unable to use my demons at all as they all summoned/stayed on the ground and I could not kill him before the shredder re-popped and kept pouring damage on me too. I tried this several times and decided to wait and hopefully catch it with help there. Annoying that the 'pet bug' makes it so difficult.

As a ilv867 Enhancement Shaman I double-teamed these guys with a ilv854 Priest. Tried it solo, couldn't get 'em down fast enough. With two people though, I was able to solo the guy on the ground while the Priest hopped up on the ship and started in on the guy in the zepplin. When I had killed ground guy, I healed a moment and hopped onto the ship to assist. We killed him with health to spare.

I soloed it as Assa rogue(802ilvl)

Items I used: Agi Flask, Agi Pots, Healing Pots, Bloodlust Drums, Bandages

1. Pre pot(and use your drums) and start with the shredder
2. Pop all cd's and stay on him until he overdrives. Use your heal on cd and feint during overdrive. Use evasion to dps him without taking damage and avoid standing in the red circles. Don't go up until the shredder is dead. Just kite him when you get low. Crippling poison works.
3. After the shredder is dead remain below the zeppelin, run around and heal up a bit(with bandages and/or your cd). Then go up and dps the guy a bit, again evasion works and the guy is stunnable. Keep in mind he hits like a truck! When you get low, refresh your bleeds, jump down and heal again. The shredder will respawn shortly after BUT don't attack it or get too close to it. It won't attack you! The guy on top will drop the key with the shredder still(or again) alive.

So frickin excited. Figured out how to solo as a frost mage with a companion

1) Go invisible and walk past the shredder onto the cliff path and loot the chest
2) Stay where you are pull the shredder and burn him down to close to death - the shredder can't get onto the cliff path, and you can dps him through the cliff
3) JUST BEFORE he dies, and when he's not doing his overload, run/blink past him and pull the guy on the zeppelin with an ice lance
4) Ignore zeppelin guy and finish killing shredder
5) Kill zeppelin guy from the ground (don't go onto zeppelin) avoiding the mines
6) Loot key off zeppelin guy

Kill Rax Sixtrigger first. Rax is easier to avoid after you do your burst and you can survive until your 2nd time when cds come up. When Rax Sixtrigger dies you will have enough time to recover, jump on the ship and deal with Snaggle Sixtrigger. It's much easier like this. Killing Snaggle first doesn't help you with Rax fight later, but killing Rax first helps you a lot with Snaggle fight. Just focus on damage and killing Rax Sixtrigger the first time, then take your time and kill Snaggle, this is quite a difficult fight, took me 4-5 attempts to kill them on my ilvl ~790 ret.

Easily soloed as 879 assassination rogue. What I did, in case it helps others:

Open on Rax (the one in the shredder) and burst on him until he goes Haywire. Defensive CDs as needed.
Use your grapple launcher to jump up to the zeppelin and start working on Snaggle.
He's immune to Blind but not to stuns, you can use this to interrupt his Pistol Barrage so you don't have to jump back down. Finish him off, them jump back down and finish off the shredder.

Horrible fight to do for a BM hunter. When grappling to the boat, your pets will go below the boat instead of on it. Even if you disband the pet before going up, it'll still end up on the ground when you resummon it.

Solution is to burst the ground enemy down, then stay down and kill the boat enemy with cobra shot. You'll be able to avoid all his attacks and take no damage.

This quest is a perfect example of how buggy this game has become. On the boat guy: dk's can't use Army (it appears under the boat), can't use grab (he goes under the boat), hunters can't get their pet up there at all even if you dismiss and summon. And those are just a few I remember.

I will bet none of these problems will be fixed.

Did this quest today as 788 BM and it's very annoying. Kill the mech on the ground, ok fine hop on the boat for haywire and deal with the guy up there for a bit... use spirit mend and exilaration to stay healthy. That's the easy part. Once the mech's dead, the damn pets, STILL, wont get on the boat. So you can either laughably commit suicide by jumping up there... or do a stupid glitch like standing directly under him (like right on his x,y coords, but under) and slowly whittle away with Cobra shot, Murder of crows, and Aspect of the Wild. Avoid moving out of what would be melee range of his x,y coords or he begins to evasion regen. You hafta have him cover as little area as possible with his bombs by delaying running out of them for as long as possible.

It's long, it's stupid, it should have been fixed a LONG time ago.

815 Assassination Rogue, very difficult but not impossible. I did this raw, no pots or buffs. I specc'd for Leeching Poison and Prey on the Weak, and opened with Cheap Shot on the shredder. Keep DPS rotation going, save Crimson Vial + Feint when he overloads. He overloads a bit into the fight, try to re-apply Rupture and Garrote before he does. Then, sprint away, though not so far he de-aggros, when he overloads. Continue damaging him in this style until he goes down.

Then recover, bandage, do whatever it takes, wait until you're topped off. The shredder will respawn, don't go by it. When you're ready, shadowstep to the guy in the zeppelin. Burn him down. Save some combo points for a Kidney Shot when he charges Pistol Barrage. Use Crimson Vial on cooldown. This should do the trick.

WL Deomonology lvl 110 item level 863 so I underestimated this quest. I died trying the first time, while I was attacking the guy on the boat. But the best strategy is first kill the shredder, because those bombs you can walk away of. Then grapple hook to get on the boat and kill the other one. Your voidwalker won't follow, he doesn't know how to use the grapple hooks? Otherwise if you go to the boat first, you will be set on fire the whole time and it is killing you, even while using unending resolve to harden the skin.

Getting a group to pug this is impossible. If you try to solo it here is my advice.

Do not leap when add-ons say to leap. Take these two on one at a time. Do not jump on the ship until Rax is dead. I've only done this with a Pally, a DK, a Ele Shaman, and a Lock & I suspect its not soloable by all* classes unless you are either raid equipped or a superior player. I am neither.

*the more squishy ones.

Edit: Since writing the above I have done this on 2 Boomkin Druids but for the first time I used bodyguards. Based on my rather small sample I think that this really helped. Not so much in the damage given but in splitting up the damage taken and the aggro. When I grappled up to the ship I had almost all my HP's and healing left.

Hew... finally I was able to solo this.

This is really one tough fight for a BM hunter!

Contrary to the popular strategy above, I killed Snaggle first before Rax.

After many attempts trying various strategies(all ground, zapping between ground/zeppelin, etc), all my gears were down to 5%, so I decided to try something differently.

Instead of aggro both at same time, I shoot Snaggle from the high rock platform next to the abandoned wagon.

This way I didn't aggro Rax and only focused on Snaggle. Somehow pets weren't able to attack(no path),

but that was ok and actually quite easy as I only needed to move around to avoid the timed bombs, with no threats from Rax.

Once I got Snaggle's HP down to around 2~3%, I immediately switched to Rax.

Note that at this point it's recommended to have all CDs, so as soon as you switched to Rax you unleash hell on him!

This way you should be able to get his HP down to about 70% before the first haywire.

Get on the zeppelin, fire a few more shots, killed Snaggle, then onto Rax.

Depending on the relative positions between you and Rax, he could still see you and hit you hard with his rockets(300k each).

You can avoid it by going to the far end of the ship where he can't see you, then come out and finish him once the pets get the aggro.

Not quite sure how other BM hunters were able to withstand the haywire by only staying on ground.

Maybe I did something wrong, but from the start of haywire to being in grave, all it took was < 30 secs.

My gears are mostly 790~820, with 1.3M HP, each haywire hits me for around 120k, so all it took was about 10 shots or so.

I ran constantly in circular pattern, but haywire shots would still find me no matter where I was hiding on the ground.....

Also note that I used Mammoth Milk, but no other healing items.

Difficult to do as DH, metamorphosis won't actvate on the zeppelin so you have to pop it before hand, especially if you need the health leech. I recommend having a combat ally assigned for this one if you can't get a group together.

Just a note if you're a BM Hunter. Apparently Blizzard does not allow pets aboard the zeppelin. Tried to do this seven times and I even tried dismissing and re-summoning once I was aboard (they spawned under the zeppelin where they are completely useless for that half of the fight). The shredder isn't very difficult but, If you go for it, be ready for the fact that Blizzard has ham-stringed you and taken away the biggest part of your class for the tougher of the two mobs in this fight.

well I read on here that there were grapple points to reach the top. I didnt know that at the time I did this. I thought you had to get flying. But as a demon hunter I have infernal strike( like heroic leap if you dont know) but has 2 charges with a fast cd. so I used that all the way to the top of the mountain.

Just did this solo as a sub 800 geared MM Hunter - Found the trick was to send the pet to the guy on the ground and just keep men pet up, hammer down the guy on the boat from range just walking in a triangle to avoid his bombs.

Once hes down DPS the ground dude as hard as you can until he enrages, Aspect of the Turtle and then jump up onto the boat.

Once on the boat just stay there and DPS him down from range moving side to side to avoid his bombs.

Once I figured out this strat it went from insanity to easy mode.

There are not too many posts that talk about how to get up there. Simply put. There is another (smaller and to the north) island that has a beach. Follow the path up the beach to the grapple point. Then grapple your way over. Actually, there are several grapple points you will need to utilize.

Good luck soloing if you don't have good enough self-healing or very high DPS. I killed both of them twice before I actually got the key from one of them, in one long battle. Either of them just respawned while I was killing the other one... Extremely frustrating .-.

Apparently if you kill it too fast you can't get the quest item. You have to wait until Rax's shredder goes haywire and then kill it to receive credit.

I soloed it as a ilvl 809 Mistweaver monk, the easiest way is to engage the dude on the ground first, ignore the prompts that tell you to jump onto the ship, just kill him fast while avoiding the bombs from the other dude, then grapple onto the ship and kill the 2nd guy which should drop the key

This quest is ridiculous. Oh so easy everyone says. I'm a lv 112 monk and I've been killed 6 times by that damn overload. Even if I try to jump on the ship, every single time my character is just stood there waiting for the bloody hookshot to work. WHY DOES IT TAKE SO DAMN LONG? I don't know how I'm supposed to take these down, it's not like my dps sucks, I often come top in dungeons, and yet with these guys I can't get him more than a quarter down before he overloads and is leeching my hp so damn fast. What the hell?

For 9.x: Does not seem to spawn even after the What a ripoff! achievement, if you are not in normal Legion levelling range. I'm a level 31 char, and the quest does not spawn in Dalaran.

as of augist 2021, you need to kill guy on boat first, then shredder to loot the key. key won't drop in the other order. I wonder why

If you're doing this at level 50+, make sure you tag both of them before you kill one of them or you might not be able to loot the key.

This is another quest that is bugged for the Evoker class.
You can kill the brothers, loot the key and then loot the chest, but there will be nothing in there for you to select and Complete with. So that questline is in purgatory and you won't be able to avenge the two Tauren they killed and looted.

Update: The Evoker corrected itself after waiting in front of the chest for a few minutes. You are able to either select Rax's Polished Greaves or Rax's Piloting Handgrips, loot 121g 32s, and a Sixtrigger Resource Crate.

Rest in peace, Galehoof couple. You have been avenged (for the umpteenth time).

If doing this at max level, make sure you kill the guy on the ground before the one on the boat. I did it the other way round first time and there was nothing to loot. I waited for respawn and tried again, killing the ground guy first and it worked. The guy on the boat drops the key to loot the chest on the ground.
