Is this quest in the normal daily rotation? I'm exalted and haven't seen this quest once so far. The guy only says his phrase but doesn't offer anything.

Am I missing something or am I just unlucky with the quests picked on my realm (EU)

Also I completed all the one-time quests up to the finale with the neck reward.

Quest was available to me after doing first two dailies at the Setting Sun Garrison quest hub. At honored reputation my group member wasn't able to see this daily, but with exalted rep I was.

If there were more quests like this one, rep grind would be so much fun... Lootable rep items like Onyx Egg are also fun.
The endless repetition of "kill x mobs" and "collect y items" and "kill 1 hapless miniboss" packages is nauseating.

It is possible that those missing this one may not realize the quest giver is not located close to the other 2 quest givers. Once you've completed several from those 2, another quest will come up sending you elsewhere... I happened to be looking at my mini-map while I was flying and spotted another blue "!." Dropped down and found this roll club one!

Definitely a good change of pace kind of daily... just wish Gnomerobliteration (Uldum) was also a daily!

You do not have to be exalted. and it is not received by the people who give the dailies. It is given my someone outside of that area on a little road that heads into the questing area. Just make a macro for Kelari Featherfoot. (/Target Kelari)

Trying to get this achive (or even q) is is doing my head in! I've done all of the above. Exalted with Lotus, done every q in the Valley. Keep going to Kelari Featherfoot every time Garrison is up - go to him between every q from Garrison. He still won't give it to me. Only gives his line. :(

Dec 03, 2012 at around 4PM EDT.
I left the farm to do the GL dailies, I was revered on my mage. I picked them up and decided to check if it was available, it WASN'T, so I continued on to do the first set of GL at the Golden stair. After I did them they sent to to Mistfall village, I checked again..NOT available, I did that set of quests then they sent me to Settingsun Garrison, I did the The Battle Ring and the other one that last 90 seconds, they than sent me to do Bloodied Skies, flying to the wall,,OMG THERE IT WAS,,,THE BLUE ! from Kelari Featherfoot. I picked it up but have not done it yet.

I have to do the GL on my Druid, I will post back and say if it was the same as above. On a side note, my Shammy is exalted with GL,,,he could NOT pick up the quest, so I'm guessing he had to do all the GL to get it, I will post back and let y'all know.

EDIT TO ADD: Could not do on druid, he's only honored. I did it on my shammy, got the achievement for under 70 seconds.

4 months in and I have yet to see the quest. Been exalted since December 5th and do teh GL quests 3-4 times a week and still this quest refuses to show itself so I can get the Roll Club achievement

For those less coordinated players, like myself, note that to complete the daily all you have to do is finish the course, not complete it in some preset amount of time. Apparently there is a time limit for an achievement, but I kept picking up so much speed and then flying off the ramparts slightly before the finish line, I quite lost interest in setting any records. On about my ninth (or perhaps 45th) attempt, I intentionally started missing speed increasers, and if I still felt I was going too fast, I would purposely hit oil patches, finishing the quest at somewhere between a snail's pace and spilled molasses. I didn't miss out on my 440 rep points with Golden Lotus (with Commendation), though, which was the most important thing to me.

I had been Exalted with Golden Lotus for quite a while before I got this quest. The only reason I found it was after defeating the ring and the trainees at the Sunset Garrison, they only gave me one extra quest. Since you usually receive three after the ring and the trainees, I looked around a bit.

This quest is NOT for people who 1) Don't think REALLY quick, 2) Never or rarely played console video games and 3) Have a low-level Dual Core computer. I have problems seeing NPCs before they start hitting me sometimes due to processor speed - doing this quest was just asking for trouble (yes, all my game display settings are set to low).

Things I Learned:

Take advantage of all the boots you can before the barriers start to zig-zag.
After the zig-zag, you may want to avoid the boots all together depending on how much lag or how slow your computer's CPU is.
When you get to the ramp with the three boots on it, make sure you hit the middle boot. On a slow computer, hitting either left or right boot will throw you off the wall. If you're not centered directly facing the middle boot, it has a tendency to throw you off the wall as well.
After the jump over the wall, you will encounter an area that wants to funnel you right down the middle. If you haven't been playing console games all your life, choose the ramp to the right of the funnel. You have to make a very sharp turn right after you go down the middle and the game seems to speed up right there.
After the funnel area, you'll see three ramps. At this point it's ok to want to hit every boot you can find. I also found it helpful to jump over the oil spots, which increase at this point.
You can roll past the finish line and bump into the end of the wall without credit. Just try and get turned around as fast as possible and go back towards the finish line. It usually gives you credit then.

Like I said, if you're used to playing fast console video games, just go straight for the boots the whole way. You're probably used to driving your cart, hedgehog, etc. really fast through mazes. For the rest of us with old computers - hit an oil spot every once in a while if you feel like you're getting out of control. If you're trying to make some speed achievement, just keep abandoning the quest when it comes time to turn it in until you've practiced the course enough to achieve the speed requirement. You will get credit for the quest no matter how fast you go, as long as you make it to the end of the course and see the completion message.

This was a fun quest, but a sad reminder how much a quad core processor costs. :-/

I'd seriously recommend doing this using the mouse to steer (holding the right mouse button) because it allows you better accuracy while moving.

I just did this quest in 60.57 seconds, bugged out as hell...I went past the finish line and fell off the edge because it didn't register that i crossed it

To complete achievement Roll Club just get as much speed buffs as you can, avoiding all oil spills and wood ramps. Control your motion by mouse (not keyboard). This video is for people who have some difficulties.:

If your just short of making the big jump, a timely jump (space bar) can help. Also remember to steer with your mouse. The keyboard is to granular.

I hope this comment can help someone who is stressing out over this. FPS does play a big part in this achieve. Especially if you have an underpar PC. On my old computer I could never get this ach no matter how many times I tried from the FPS I had during it(20 or less). I recently got a new comp that gives me 70+ fps. I got this achieve in 1 try, and I hit 2 oil puddles during it.

Hell, this is fun! If hugely frustrating for someone like me who does not have the reflexes of a cat.
Just read the v. helpful comments on here & you should be ok. Key thing is to hit the centre ramp for the big jump at an angle coming from the right (as you roll) & spacebar + fwd arrow as you hit the ramp.
There are no prizes for speed on this, so once over the jump use the oil puddles or you could find yourself unable to change direction quick enough when a couple of tricky block sets appear.

A really great quest, even if it is purely for amusement.

Seems like a lot of folks are not finding this quest. The quest giver, Kelari Featherfoot is sitting in front of a tent on the left when you take the path to the north from the Survival Ring in the Setting Sun Garrison (where you have to run around and avoid the explosions for 1 minute). It is not far up the path. He is at coordinates ( 18.1, 63.6).

If anyone has difficulty with maneuvering or trying to get the achievement - you can toggle walk/run whilst rolling and the speed will change.

My preferred method is to roll over (or close enough to count) to the beginning speed-boosts on the first part of the course to make sure I sail well over the break in the middle. (And approach this broken section ramp slightly from the right...which will make you sail a bit left...or you'll probably sail right off.)

There are a couple of beginning boost that are so far left right after an obstacle that puts you far-right that I don't bother with them.

Once I'm over the break, I usually intentionally hit an oil puddle or two because there are several speed-boosts that you can't avoid and, if I don't, I'll be rolling so fast at the end that I'll loose control.

Nothing like finishing the entire course in record time, only to get hung-up on the final door.

If you're having a tough time clearing the little bridge (please tell me I'm not the only one), get in the center of the spring board before it, and remember to JUMP while you're in the air. You should land on the other side fine, then. This is fairly forgiving, I got most but not all of the speed boosts, hit one oil puddle, and still made it in less than 70 seconds. Good luck!

For some reason this quest is not completing for me. I talked to the quest giver to get the quest, then talk to him again to roll, finish the run, got the achievement, but both quest objectives were incomplete, no matter how many times i run it, talk to him, abandon it and do it again, it doesnt complete.

Tried this quest today (first time since patch 6.0.2) and it seems to be bugged. When the race started my character disappeared. It was still doable but it was quite a bit harder with no indication other than the camera as to "where" I was suppose to be.

A solution to the invisibility bug: Before you start the race, place a small piece of paper tape on your screen exactly where your character is. Start the race, use the tape instead to see where you are! Made it super easy for me!

(This post is not 6.0.2 bug invisibility bug related; just general advice)

For those having trouble maintaining control at higher speeds, I would recommend zooming the camera really far out and angling it down a bit. This helps you see farther down the course. Looking into the distance helps you make smaller, smoother corrections as your speed increases, just like driving a car on the highway.

P.S. And as others mentioned- steer with your mouse.

If your character is invisible, click on the Roll Club portrait, or press the F1 key a time or two. It will select yourself and highlight the ground beneath you so you can see where you're going.

Note that there is a currently (October 13, 2014) a known issue as reported in 6.0.2 Known Issues - Updated 10/27/14 with this quest:

•Players are invisible while inside the roll club vehicle during the quest "Roll Club: Serpent's Spine".

The Blue Post by Zorbrix also states:

•The issues listed here are frequently reported issues that may be addressed at a later date via a client patch.
•Forum threads that report issues already on this Known Issues list may be locked if they are constantly bumped with no new, relevant information.

I know I'm like 10 years late to the party on this one but damn this quest is AWFUL. And I though the world quest in Revendreth was bad.

Way too easy to fall off the sides.
Second leg of the course doesn't load fast enough.
The big jump is 50-50 on if you'll get far enough.
If I fail and it ports me back to the npc I get DC'd from the server.
If I get DC'd multiple times from failing my internet starts to melt.

Think I'll be skipping this one for grinding Golden Lotus rep, unfortunate that there's an achievement tied to it...

Holy *!@# this quest is awful, the second part doesn't load in properly so you just have to memorize the course, the super jump either doesn't boost you or boosts you off in some random direction, you get slowed down by pools when you don't even hit them.

And then when you actually complete it it disconnects you lmao

Phasing on this one seems to be bugged a bit these days. In order to make the large jump between gates three and four, you need to collect all the speed boosts before it. This requires moving to the left side after the second gate in order to ride up and over a ramp that usually doesn't spawn until you're on it, to collect a speed boost as you land. The large jump requires you to jump almost perfectly parallel with the gap, and you will only just make it with enough speed. Generally the rest of the course loads fine in my testing, though the area directly following the third gate sometimes spawns a little late.

Whatever sadistic dev decided to make this quest should be made to do it him/herself... Blindfolded and with their arms tied behind their backs... And then do it again, and again. Waste of time and never trying this again.

Obstacles do not spawn in until after you collide with them. Not sure if that's a pandaria remix thing or not, but frankly I don't care if this quest awarded 125 Million Bronze - I'd pay double that to never have to deal with this quest.
