This article covers 5.3 PTR information which may be outdated. Check out
Wowhead's Brawler's Guild Guide (Updated for 5.3)
for the latest details.
Following up on yesterday's
big 5.3 discovery that Garrosh and the Kor'kron are up to no good in Durotar and the Barrens
, we have some smaller patch additions covering stabled pets, cosmetic armor, and new bosses in the Brawler's Guild!
50 Stable Slots for Hunters
Hunters can now
stable up to 50 pets
, on top of the five in their active slots. With all the
new dinosaurs to collect in 5.2
, this should make lots of hunters happy!
Cosmetic Items
Players noticed that the Auction House in 5.2 had a section under Armor called Cosmetic, but there weren't any items one could list there. We datamined an item from

The Brawler's Guild is designed to provide players with solo challenges that test their DPS and situational awareness. Players fight various well-loved bosses with quirky abilities to gain ranks in the Guild, earning titles and vanity items as prizes. While gaining an invitation to participate in the Guild is exclusive, any player can gather around the Brawl areas and watch their friends learn the new bosses.
This guide covers how to obtain an invitation, the guild locations, vendors, all the bosses and their abilities, how to complete the achievements, vanity items, and fun touches like tribute NPCs to

Warlords of Draenor Changes

Wowhead's Exclusive Interview with Lead Quest Designer Dave Kosak
Yesterday, we sat down with Lead Quest Designer Dave Kosak and asked him about some experimental content choices in 5.1, as well as contested topics such as Mists of Pandaria's daily quest system. We previously
interviewed him right before MoP's launch
and it was cool to follow up on many of those topics!
Many fansites will be conducting interviews with Blizzard staff this week, which we'll be rounding up, but for now, all raiders and PvPers will want to check out Ghostcrawler's interviews at
Gamebreaker
and

Blizzard Removes Brawler's Guild Realm First, More Heroic Vizier Hotfixes
The
Brawler's Guild
, a new feature in 5.1 that lets players test their mettle in soloing challenging bosses, has been at the center of a lot of debate recently for two reasons: participating in this content requires buying an invite from the BMAH or getting an invite from a friend, and there was a Realm First Feat of Strength tied to defeating all the bosses.
Blizzard clarified some things about the Brawler's Guild today--the invite system is here to stay, but the Realm First has been removed.

We updated this post to include some more hotfixes made to

this afternoon!

5.1 PTR: Brawler's Guild - Invitations, NPCs, Achievements
This following article is a PTR preview from the Brawler's Guild. Since this preview, the Guild has gone through several changes. Please read
Wowhead's Brawler's Guild Guide
for all the details that made it live to 5.1.
The
PTR patch notes
created some controversy yesterday when it was revealed that invitations to the Brawler's Guild would be quite exclusive--either via existing members or by purchasing one on the Black Market Auction House with gold.
Edit: Since this was posted, Blizzard has added in an alternative method: having it drop from select Alliance/Horde NPCs.
To recap, the Brawler's Guild is an area for players to demonstrate their skill in soloing challenging bosses, gaining ranks within in the guild as they do so, in a "Fight Club" atmosphere.
There's been a few things added in this PTR patch--invitations, achievements, various NPCs--which we've covered below.
In addition, spectators can no longer influence the outcome of a fight by throwing flowers or rotten fruit at players.

5.1 PTR: Brawler's Guild Preview
This following article is a PTR preview from the Brawler's Guild. Since this preview, the Guild has gone through several changes. Please read
Wowhead's Brawler's Guild Guide
for all the details that made it live to 5.1.
Since our
visual preview
of the Brawler's Guild last week, many more features have been added on the PTR. Players can queue up for brawls, gain ranks, purchase consumables, and loot rewards.
The Brawler's Guild has set up fighting rings set up in Stormwind and Orgrimmar where players engage in solo PvE challenges. Winning increases your rank within the Brawler's Guild, making you eligible for more and more rewards. The areas are set up so that players fight in a central pit while spectators are encouraged to watch on the sides.
Gaining Rank
The Brawler's Guild is a bit livelier now on the PTR. The announcers are in full swing and a variety of champions were unleashed on players. We watched C'thun, Dungeon Master Vishas, some undead spirits, a large dinosaur, and a

5.1 PTR: Brawler's Guild and New Krasarang Wilds PvP Hubs
Level 90 characters are working once again on the PTR, so we took a look at the new developments in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Krasarang Wilds. There's two major features that we found:
Brawler's Guild
and
Krasarang Wilds PvP Hubs
. From what we've seen, it looks like the Alliance is getting a lot of love when it comes to these new areas that show off combat and PvP skills--their areas show that they've rebounded from Theramore.
Krasarang Wilds: New PvP Hubs
A large part of 5.1 is about the Alliance and Horde conflict escalating to the point where they've set up military bases on the shores of Krasarang Wilds.
Two new reputations have been added as a result:
Operation: Shieldwall
for the Alliance and
Dominance Offensive
for the Horde.
The Alliance hub is located at
Lion's Landing
in the east, and the Horde hub is located at
Domination Point
to the far west.
Each base has objectives for the enemy team to capture like graveyards and towers, commissions to earn that can recruit guards to protect your new territory, and daily quests.
Controlling various areas rewards different buffs (and sorry, no f
