Well, it happend to me, when I took a "brake" I never manedge to fix it, I just tryed to think, what is the best? Sincie it was merley a month to summer holidays, I didn't play... So I recomend you not to play, try complete school, and then see wow as a revard! :)
I'm currently not able to play (not much at least) since my laptop broke and I depend on my brother's computer, and he's not very friendly. When I was in college (it's summer here, btw) it was fine: my laptop was OK and I had time for a couple of dungeons and maybe completing some seasonal achievements, but it took me some time to figure out the best balance between studying and gaming. It is possible: you just have to try different things (of course, before exams you MUST forbid yourself from playing!)
Hey, I wrote about this exactly 9 months ago. :P
Heh, mod fight, but I know that feeling.

Sleep less, that is what I do when I want to play.On few nights a week, I stay up till 2-3 in the night and sleep few hours before I go to work. I get solid 3-5h playing time that way. Usually I start between 10 and 11 when other go to bed.Oh, I have kids, wife, work and so forth.
I have a wife and kid, my old work hours were 4:30pm - 12:30am, I would play for 3hrs when I got home and sometimes 3 hours before I went in (this is of course as long as I manage to wake up by 10am. That gave me 6hrs of play time each day and I didnt think that would be possible but it was, I would raid at night after getting home and it worked out pretty well.
Do what I do. Stock the fridge with some Red Bulls and choose a day when you'll stay up through the night and through the next day. Honestly, I'd never get to play if I didn't do this. I'm in college, have a full-time job, a wife, and 3 kids (including two-and-a-half year old twins). Quite a few in my guild live in Australia, so the raids start at about midnight server time; that's the perfect time for me to get going! While I can't devote even a little time to WoW throughout the week, I know that on Tuesday evenings I'm going to get a solid 10-12 hours to escape into Azeroth.
I have pretty bad insomnia, I always have time for WoW.Well, that and my inability to care about school.
All it takes is an hour, every now and then. Half to an hour of questing is enough to get about 4-5 levelling quests done, or one 'mini-zone'/vicinity. Do that once, twice a week, and you'll find you get through at a decent pace. The problem is when you set that time aside, and then it gets interrupted. That's generally the issue that I have, meaning that I can't queue myself up for a dungeon unless I know that I'll definitely have time free.
After work, time with the wife, military, gym and housework I consider Wow my main hobbie. I have no attention for TV, I am tired of the bar scene. I dont play any other games besides this one. I have a feeling when I start school again WoW is gonna go bye bye for a while.
Well, since I'm in school, I have pretty much time to play... I do well in school and such, the only thing I really can't do is hardcore raiding. The "only" thing that suffers from my playing is my social life, I guess. On a break now though, haven't played for a month or something, so I working on that.
Military service, atm served 1 of 6 months... Not very much time for wow :P
