Oh man, this art is gorgeous. I love how realistic it is. I love all of them, but especially the worgen and the dragon whelp.
I like that the art is realism-leaning but still stylized, very much fits the Warcraft IP. I especially like the Worgen pics (but that's probably because their my favorite race... currently, anyway. Heh)
There's so much variety in the portraits, from expressions to content and colours.
The style is great overall. If I won, I would ask her to make my belf DK look a bit more dessicated than the one she has up there.
Oh, hey! I saw that void elf portrait on reddit not too long ago, fell in love with the style straight away. I'm loving that Worgen, thinking Blizz could take a few lessons. If they ever rework them.
I'm in love. I've always adored the look of digital painting. In fact, seeing it is what inspired me to take up doing digital art. Sadly, I've never been good at drawing humans, haha. But you're... nearly as good as it gets. The variety of expressions and the *realism* of how the shadows and highlights form their faces... *!@#, I want my art to be like that. I love how you combine this realism with vibrant and creative color palettes that are unique for each painting. It creates this wonderful semi-realism that captures WoW perfectly, while at the same time expressing more than the game ever could.I guess that what I'm saying is... I can't draw like you (yet), but a portrait from you of one of my toons would be a great inspiration and source of joy :')
Simply stunning work. The realism portrayed in the art affects the mixed style that we see in the game itself. We all know there are hundreds of artists out there in the world able to take on attempts were bringing WoW to life and I feel she really inspires to create a true harmony in her touches of realism into the virtual world we come to play in. Keep making things breathtakingly beautiful. <3
The worgen with the warhammer looks fantastic. I also like the detail, the artist has put into the background for the worgen druid and blood elf rouge. And the High elf from eso looks gorgeous, especially the eyes which are absolutely stunning.
I love that picture of the red headed human paladin! It’s beautiful! I saw it a while back on another site, Reddit maybe? I loved it then too! As a red headed female paladin, I’d be overjoyed with a blood elf version.
I LOVE the way the female worgen was painted. Blizzard's in-game model does not do them nearly enough justice, but that piece actually makes me miss being Alliance and having a female worgen a little.
First let me say that the Artist's Corner is my new favorite thing here. Next, I love this realistic style and how sleek everything looks! Finally? I like it so much that I just signed up for Storenvy and bought a calendar, keychain, and sticker.Edit: And I just signed up for Patreon!
I don't know what I like most. The detail, the visible emotion of the pieces, or the fact that the background in a lot of them is really fitting. (My favourite has to be the worgen girl with the Black Hand, really love the background on that one as it fits the armor, tabard, and general mood I associate with Gilneans).I really like the work you've done on these. Whomsoever wins this contest is one lucky person, indeed!
I freaking love how the Blackhand has been captured on that worgen, it's incredible! :D
Great Work! She really brings them to life. Teh red haired, green eyed human one just fascinates me! If i win i wonder if i can get the portrait done of my daughter! Though we would have to go Nightborne, don't think the kiddo would enjoy any of the other Horde races as her! lol
That demure Forsaken girl is weirdly adorable. It's like someone died and was buried with the perfect cinnamon roll just so someone else could dig up the cinnamon roll. Also that Sylvanas in the header gave me a good laugh. "Darkspear Triiiiiiiibe..."
i like the art style, the worgen and male elves look very unique.i REALLY like that last female elf on the right, it gives me a very Elder Scrolls vibe. (i'm playing a lot of skyrim vr lately lol)
One of my favorite artists of all time! The brush stroke on the pictures and her unique way of drawing is just, MMMH!Naariel is beast. Don't even think i can pick one picture i pref.. Her way of using the lighting on the draenei pally on the last set of pictures, is just delish *-*
They are so realistic! I really like the Warrior Worgen here. Looks ready to smack! >:)
I like how the art has photorealistic elements without sacrificing the inherently cartoony nature of wow characters
Her art uses a lot of bold colors set by a complimentary background to give the art a kind of popping sensation. However, instead of it being a graphic contrast it smoothes out altogether. I think a part of this is because of her painting style. None of it feels stilted or convoluted at all. Furthermore, a lot of the joy comes in the facial features. They are able to perfectly capture true emotion, and from the variety of it all, this artist knows how to capture a good feeling. My favorite is the female Stormwind Paladin and the Draenei Paladin. For the first one, the smile is so warm and inviting that I can’t help but smile myself at it. As for the second, I like how the golden yellow was able to be so seamlessly incorporated into it despite the skin color of the Draenei and the background.
