What's funny is that this mount is cheaper than the original. If we're going by the cost of wow tokens as a standard and the mount costed 5 million gold.
Blizzard’s unique definition of “sold out”.
Me who needs gold is happy to buy literally 2 tokens for the price of 1
The price of a token is literally off the charts on undermine.exchange right now. Tokens were steadily selling for around 200K for the past two weeks, and now as of this comment it's up to 281K, a 40% increase in 9 hours since mount was released. I wonder where the ceiling is. Anyone who buys tokens with cash to get gold in game is going to be getting a better return than in a long time.
Just imagine, a company that is there to make money, is actually making money right now... Crazy times we live in.
damn that macro is broken just bought 5 in 5mins wtf
i'm excited to be able to finally get that last warband bank space for a lot less irl cash. Let's get those tokens up to 800k ! And, yes, I bought all five mounts today. You're welcome.
Soon: buy Invincible from the Blizzard Shop, only $90! Buy a full set of Mythic raid gear for only $90!
And sooooooo much gold has been bought on the biggest gold-buying sites...GG Blizz.
423k now... I have 20€ on my battle net account, maybe I'm going to buy a token, I'm a casual player, I don't care any brutosaur but a bunch of gold yes...
The mount is on the shop until the end of the anniversary event.I would suggest (if you can) to buy the mount for real money now, and sit on your gold until the price of the token drops back down to its average price in a few months. Then buy the price equivalent in cheaper tokens and use the balance to buy the next expansion. Works out the same, just need to be out of pocket for a bit longer and you save quite a bit of gold.
Wow, it is like about $135 my currency, I'll just buy it for myself, but the tokens, yeah, I'll buy some to sell on the AH for all of you who don't have real money to get this mount. BTW, without the gold value of a token, 5-6 tokens should be close to the cost to buy this mount. skip the middle man and just pay cash (um, credit card I guess) on your account.I'm guessing tokens are going nuts for sales because most players don't have a job and a credit card. No insult meant, but warcraft is played by all ages, and as far as I know, kids are not allowed a credit card unless a parent signs on it and they are old enough. This is good news both ways though. Thanks Blizz! :)
Wow, that macro is broken as *!@#. I wished I knew yesterday when the token was at 330 instead of now where it is at 450.Obviously I could have waited, market will calm down. I guess the best point to buy it would be around 2 weeks before christmas. But it's still only half the price of the original one (and 1/4 of the price I would have paid in the BMAH), so all's fine. It's actually insane. They make 78 euro per sold bronto, and 120 euro for every bronto someone buys for tokens. This is literally stonks, this will make them swim in money considering how many of them are running around right now.It will make the revenue of their addon sale pale in comparison (even though that's also ~60 euros they had to pay for the development of the xpac with this. Here they only had to pay for someone to recolor a bronto model).
So, what the heck made the token rise to 400K+ in a single week several weeks ago? It rose from 200K and fell back down to it inside of two weeks it seemed.
