I have a feeling this was unintended, and will be hotfixed soon. Here's hoping! Was hoping to be able to use my alts to hunt for that elusive Endothermic Blaster for yet another year. Only thing from Feast of Winter Veil I'm still after!
What about the special present on Christmas Day that contains a toy, etc. unique to every year? Will that require 60, too? I have not even had the time to play to get above 50 with all of the holidays happening...
It has to be a bug, most likely due to the level squish because the last time the event was up you got the Stolen Gift for being under 110. In the past it has awarded the Stolen Present as long as you were the minimum level of the current expansion, or even the previous expansion if the latest expansion was considered new enough. It should be level 45 if SL is considered too new (not likely), 48 for min level of SL, or at most 50 for max level of past expansion. Anything higher would mean the people that haven't bought SL yet would be unable to obtain the good present from the daily and level 50 characters would receive Player Experience which doesn't work past level 49.
Ah yes, how very progressive of you Blizzard.
%^&*ty change , no one will like this stupid decision
it much better if was +51
People are busy this time of year, so... đŸ™„
Since you (wowhead) has some pull with blues, can you ask for confirmation? And especially for the love is in the air event, I'd rather know now if I need to get my 50 lvl 50 alts to 60 or not. Naturally I hope this is not an intended change.
Where is the quest.... neither this post not the guide actually bother to tell us where/how to get it
Okay, MAYBE I'd understand 60 being needed after a year or so of Shadowlands, but it's only been about a month since players have even been able to even reach 60, and most people probably only have 1-3 level 60s atm.
For anyone interested - I have 46 lvl 50 toons with the BFA Mission table and right now, 9 of them have the stolen present mission, so 19.5% chance. I am guessing the missions spawn each day? The mission itself takes a day and a half to complete as well. Not sure yet whether a toon can get it more than once in a year/holiday.
Oh, good grief. I'm happy I finally got lucky with Illusion: Flames of Ragnaros a few years back, otherwise I would be very, very angry right now. This feels like such a pointless change, especially given how much there is to do at cap in Shadowlands and how little time the expansion has been out.
yet it awards ilvl 44 trinkets....
TERRIBLE change
