Hey hi hello. Just a few quick Points of Information:
This is news to me so, I had to read the comments that are available at the moment. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we have MoP all over again. I really hope not, though since the insane amount of hate that got should serve a deterrent. That and BFA story was trying too hard to make the Alliance look good. That said, I hope that Anduin meeting up with Sylvanas is just a chance at closure because neither one of them were in their own mind. Still glad that the writers didn't go the route of not punishing her for that reason, though. (I used to respect her a lot so, that's probably why.) I also hope that Anduin is just trying to recover from several traumas since those don't just magically disappear after fights. Still, it's probably moreso due to him always being a good person, and that somehow being considered unrealistic. And fantasy's one of the genres got ruined by people demanding realism rather than just reading/watching something else.
He should be forming an Alliance Council when he returns to Stormwind. The Embassy can serve as a meeting place for the members of this council, which is pretty much what it’s there for.
This is going to be awesome.Anduin recovering himself by helping Sylvie rescue the literal souls of his people, people Anduin feels he failed too, is totally in character.I think Turalyon bringing darkness really means that some of what we saw in Horrific Visions will come to pass. In order to defeat the light zealot Scarlett Crusade, Alleria is going to turn to the void for help and Turalyon will make the mistake of allowing her, trusting her or being blind to it, and it will go mega bad.Anduin can show back up in 10.3 like "Daddy's Home" and have fully grown up from a peace keeper to a hardened warrior whose spent years walking the literal streets of hell.
so he might end like thrall did?
This kinda remind me of the comic of old Anduin and Valen in the starship fighting the void. I think they're going with that storyhttps://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/story/comic/son-of-the-wolf
Legion expanded and finished story beats from BC; Illidan, Sargeras, Eridar etc.. Shadowlands did the same for Wrath; Arthas, Uther, Sylvanas and the Jailer, afterlife etc... So Dragonflight will do the same with Cata, so I expect heavy involvement from Wrathion, black dragonflight, elementals and such... Which suggests we could expect next xpac to continue story beats from MoP? Maybe more Pandarian lore and such, I personally would love another MoP themes xpac as the music and design from then was amazing!
this could lead to a light /void expansion with some of the scarlet crusade elements in it also id love to run some mythic plus style scarlet crusade dungeons man.
Finishing off SL with yet another terrible take. Thanks.
Nothing like leaving everybody you love and who could help you overcome your trauma by staying in super hell WITH your abuser at the place of your abuse...participating in the punishment of your abuser because...you feel guilty for...things you had no control in doing...?Great writing all around on Blizzard's part.I'd have more respect for them if they just admitted they wanted him out of the story because they're butthurt so many people ship him with Wrathion and with Wrathion returning in Dragonflight, they didn't want ANY potential for teh gay to be perceived as a thing by fans desperate for some actual representation.Blizzard has continued to fail to understand that people don't want Anduin to just become Varian 2.0. The fact that the two characters were so different is what made their interactions interesting.
Bull&*!@ direction, they are going to ruin anduin character just like Sylvanas. He is last wrynn heir of stormwind his ancestral home, Turalyon not even from stormwind,I hope its just temporary not permanent stepdown as king who left his people otherwise it will ruin all charcter build up till now, looks like they are giving him thrall treatment 😒
Il'gynoth is one of my favorite characters and has hinted at a lot of cool stuff. He's like the center of theories and assumptions. He is for me at least.
"that suggests they're not quite as vanquished as we might believe."Oh god please no, anything but another "heart of y'shaarj" situation. Dragonflight already looks like a MoP 2.0 don't @#$% it up now...
