These do seem to be inconsistent... for the four specs I want to play, the Frost Mage and Survival Hunter pages seem to be not much more than changelogs, whereas the Frost DK and Outlaw pages are actually comprehensive and discuss what the changes mean for the the spec.
What I find funny is that the guides here and on other WoW related sites all seem to be saying different things and recommending different talents which just seems to tell you no one knows what will be best yet and makes all the guides kinda pointless.
Wowhead, you're awesome again. Thanks a lot to everyone who worked for these super useful guides./bow
Thanks for the hard work on these guides! These will definitely come in handy in the coming weeks/months. Sorry that some people are poops. Some of us really do appreciate all the hard work you all do. <3
Great work on the guides, definitely very comprehensive and useful. However, I can't help but feel disappointed that the best talents for my two main classes are once again the most asinine and boring ones. Kinda puts me off raiding for BfA, but, we'll see.
Small update on the Vengeance Rotation guide - there was a missing so some of the explanations were hidden. It's now been fixed
It is so funny when some people are negative about free info provided by other people. If you don't like it, don't use it, or offer some useful feedback.Thank you guys for the awesome work you have done with all of these guides and the hours you must have put in these. Kudos!
Some guides are more anemic than others. It almost feels like some guides are trying to explain things to people who are already playing BFA beta rather than not. A perfect example of the variance would be looking at the BM Hunter guide vs the prot paladin guide. Reading through the hunter guide you have a good understanding of whats coming and what to expect--not just a breakdown of the change log, but a real feel for "what does all this actually mean to me?". I just started playing a hunter (always pally/priest before), despite only having a couple of months of playtime with the class I feel I have a good understanding of what's changing with BFA after reading the guide, it was truly helpful. After reading the prot paladin guide, which is spread over multiple links, I don't feel like I know anymore than I did a few days ago looking at the last changeling, or how its going to affect my play style (and I've been playing a pally tank since BC). I'm sure the author knows his class extremely well, it would just be nice if he could pull it all together in a way that makes sense.
Nice, succinct guidesMy problem is not with the content explained but with the content given. This xpac is already shaping up to be a negative one (pruning, in-combat downtime because there is nothing off cooldown, unengaging talents, and many specs not feeling "whole" until you get azerite gear which is also looking pretty bad). Blizz should really just sell this off to consoles and start over...
Very worrying to be a tank to say the least. I've played since Vanilla and of course threat generation for ME is not a big deal. But what about the people that have now been conditioned to think that they can attack anything and everything whenever they want, and tank will still hold aggro? Will these people be patient enough to wait for kill orders, CC orders, etc.,etc.? Definitely not at first. Will be interesting to see how these changes actually play out.
I don't know why the wowhead team even bother to reply to the troll comments... basically none of it is constructive feed back and just kids having a whinge that is 99% just a troll.
Keep in mind day 1 bfa pre-patch goes live it wont have any Pre quests of bfa so those Darnassus and Battle of lordaeron quests and events wont be up in next tuesday/wednesday but those all apply in 8,0,0 before Bfa launch and patch 8,0,1. PS: those who still run legion lisence Battle of lordaeron wont start if dont own Bfa lisence in live getting invited t o beta wont cover it :P
Best advice you can give is for people to experiment and play what they find is the most fun.
I think rotations and stats being on sub-pages caused some confusion for people looking for that kind of thing in the main body.
