Jesus I would kill for this sort of addition. Not sure the teleport would take off though, sounds random at best or to resource heavy if not. Maybe swap it out with a reset all old raid content with a week long cooldown that would let you clear them twice a week?
this would get me to resub.
honestly just do what guild wars 2 does, love their max level paragon system that in return gives you QoL
Transmog Master seems too powerful, more realistically perhaps a 5 point talent of Transmog Appraiser that caps at 10% chance to add a mog to your account the current character can't use.--But what about reputation based instead of talent tree based? An association of Grummle porters you encounter at the start of legacy dungeon runs. They offer to follow you around as a vendor while you ransack the place. In order to build rep when you talk to them at the start of a run they ask if you will give them a bigger cut of the profits from any legacy gear you sell them , and reputation gains are driven by the amount of bonus gold they net. At max rep they automatically join you when you enter the legacy dungeon and no longer ask for a bonus cut as now they trust you are a reliable source of goods.Reputation levels is what gets you bonuses such as increasing out of combat run speed bonus and "Antiques Roadshow" in which they appraise items to unlock the transmog appearance for your account . By max reputation you get 3 appraisals per dungeon . Maybe a bonus roll based "Hidden Compartment" where the Grummle can always find you 1 extra item from a boss on a long cooldown shared across legacy dungeons and also limited to once per dungeon lockout .
What if you could "hire" an NPC of another class and whatever tmogs they could learn get added to your account. Hire a priest on your DK, and you can learn cloth, wands, etc. It's not like transmogs give players an edge over other players like the extra gold gathering would. not that gold's that important anymore, but still. and for anyone complaining about how long THEY had to farm tmogs, why don't you sit down and I'll tell you about farming the Headless Horseman mount on 4 toons, and having to take out a loan when my Hunter hit level 40, just so I could buy his spells, the pet's spells, and replace his entire gear set. And don't get me started on how my human mage's first mount was a cat, and how long that took.
While I would love this, of all those talents the Transmog Master is something that will never happen. People have asked for all drops to unlock appearances before. It would massively cut down playtime for transmogers and that is something Blizz won't allow.
Gold gain - not going to happen. Unlikely the transmog either, but some really good suggestions there. However do keep in mind people will probably find ways to abuse this in pvp or something..
I like the concept, but not the details. It should not be like the so-called "skill tree" for Visions, as in you can eventually learn everything in the tree. Instead, it should be choices, like the current soulbind trees or the choices at the Legion and BfA command tables. The skills should not involve +damage or similar stuff, as those are already baked in with the heirloom items.I personally would never say no to +loot, but seeing as Blizzard's current direction is to reduce loot, it will take a paradigm shift to have that happen.Anything that shorten travel time will be great, whether it be +mount speed, or teleport abilities for everyone.
Seriously? This is on the same level as covenant allied races with me: I would even pay EXTRA to have this in the game. All the Items I got with characters that aren't added because it's not the main armor. Brilliant idea that should be posted on the official forum as well.
Shoddy and replete with spelling errors (not the puns, actual spelling errors). We're really clutching at straws for articles, aren't we...
I really like this idea. Be nice if blizzard added something like this.
The more I think about the Transmog Master concept, the less I like it. If I do a ton of runs on my plate character, why should I get free mog for my cloth alts?
omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgYESPLEASETHIS!On top of this, I'd love to see said talents be earned as an account wide thing, with account wide progress... but be earned via doing said old raids (like say... doing 1 old raid earns you a set amount of a currency, and doing an old dungeon earns some too, but less than a raid...). kind of like how honor is account wide....and make it take a little while to earn the full tree too, not super easy but not bonkers long either. Also like the visions talents, make it so you can eventually earn all options!I thoroughly agree on the need for (and have been asking for years for) the 'unlock everything you loot for transmog'. I even wrote a forum post on it back in MoP and WoD (with some very shocking results of people saying a big nope... ). It doesn't make any sense to me why people wouldn't want this, nor why it would be considered unfair etc. if that 1 drop you're looking for finally drops (say it's a plate helm, or a giant axe), what does it matter if it drops for your warlock (can't use, vendor junk) or your warrior (the one you want to use it on!). it should just flat out unlock on your ACCOUNT WIDE wardrobe! it doesn't mess with the transmog system at all, as you still have to be able to use the item (plate wearers can only use plate) to actually mog it... but it still rewards you with the unlock so your plate wearers can use it!Another one I'd love to see is 'port me back to the entrance', as some instances are so damn long >.< (and tbh, I'd find it more useful than porting me to any instance of choice). Especially as sometimes you want to go back in on another difficulty (say you're running normal, hc and mythic, or chain running the same dg over and over). To go along with bear tartare, another thing I've wanted for years as a legacy solo farmer, is just a flat speed increase while not in combat (maybe tone down bear tartare a little on this tree to compensate)... especially on the larger raids where no mounting is allowed. Just takes so long to run between bosses). Overall though, yes, I need this in my life, blizzard!
Blizzard speeding up content? Now that's funny
I would love to see something like this. I don’t get to raid or even do M+ these days due to work and family commitments. I might get an 1 hour or 2 hours max a week so all I do is farm transmogs. Anything to added to my tiny part of WoW would be welcomed.
PLSSSSSSSSSSS
Hell, it's about time (c), especially considering how broken Legion/BfA raids are right now (read: impossible to efficiently solo). However, such thing would cost us a new raid tier, some transmog sets in SL, couple of new haircuts and probably an expansion delay, because apparently coding the talents that change ONE variable is too hard to implement.
highers up will not be pleased as this will decrease profits by 0,05% and therefore cannot be implemented unless three or more portals are being removed to increase player travel time
