Ofc Wrath of the Lich King
The lore was awesome in Burning Crusade
Burning Crusade, I guess, because vanilla wasn't an expansion. The amount by which it became easier to raid in later expansions--because of raid finder and smaller raid sizes--is exactly the amount by which it became less rewarding. WoW is a much less social experience now, which has it's good side as well as bad, but overall it's much less memorable because there aren't people there to share the memories with you.
How could one only have one favorite expansion, if I do have to choose it would be The Burning Crusade.Everything about that expansion was true magic, not only did I reroll from alliance to horde on that key moment, the first sight of hellfire peninsula was marvelous, it gave the idea of, ok guys, this is going to be truely different. Only half recovered from the wiping raids of naxxramas we had to venture into unknown territory that had this mystic feel as if it was ripped from as science fiction movie. Not only was it the expansion where I did most of my raiding career(wotlk is close enough) but it was also the very reason I started digging further into warcraft Lore, there were so many elements of stories untold that just begged to have a background check filled in. Long story short, TBC has most memories for me since it's the time I joined my guild that I'm still in on this very day which has given me a tremendous lot of memories and friends. It reeks of nostalgia when I walk an alt through outland, whispers of youth, it's almost 8 years ago, such things never get forgotten easily :)
My favorite expansion was Cataclysm, it introduces a lot of nice things like transmog and it changed Azeroth forever.
I obviously love Warlords of Draenor, because it's fun, how is it fun? Because of the structures, new models, and lots of other cool stuff!
I really liked Wrath was my favorite. I loved the zones and the quests and just the story as a whole... :)
Burning Crusade for me, loved having a shaman on Alliance and Nagrand is beautiful!
My Favorite has been MoP because of the dragons and pet battles, But its really hard for me to decide because each expansion has had its great improvements as well as some less desired changes to characters, that work out in the end. Blizzard has been doing a good job trying to keep the market as wide as possible, while keeping the stories going. Thanks for this opportunity.
I just missed the deadline on the other contest, I love Wowhead and the Blizzard games! Best of luck to all!
I think MoP is my favorite expansion so far, but WoD will likely take that position once it comes out :D
While Burning Crusade has its nostalgia factor, I'd say Wrath of the Lich King was my absolute favourite expansion. I was most active in raiding and time spent online. Plus, it was when I joined my guild!
Cataclysm !
I loved the art-style WotLK Introduced, it was easily my favorite expansion.
Burning Crusade has always been my favorite.
Cataclysm was by far my favorite expansion especially with the killing of Deathwing and the story of the Aspects coming to an end.
Wrath of the Lich King I loved the story line and quests!
Wrath of the Lich King has been my favorite expansion so far.
I would have to say that Cataclysm was my favorite expansion due to the fact of the Azeroth revamp and flying allowed there. It took the old zones I knew as a vanilla player and spiced them up.
