About the Warbringers animation: The Jaina one was better done IMO, not only in narrative, but visually.About the story, this keeps showing up that Sylvannas it's just a spoiled brat, much like Arthas.
Said it just recently, Ian really should have a look at what "morally grey" means. This isn't it.Where are the merc recruitements to support the storm on Undercity? Never liked that place anyway, and I'm Horde.
Spoilers:In next expansion "NORTHREND 2.0"- Sylvanas fallen under control of new LICH KING- BOLVAR FORDRAGON is new LICH KINGWhy?- big sword stuck to azeroth = planet axis shifts>climate change>Bolvar was surprised he let his guard down and LICH HELMET taken over!IT ALL MAKE SENCE NOW!
What makes me really mad is that she did it only for spite one elf that showed pity to her. Not for the horde, not for survival. That is pure evil
I think everyone has a right to be upset with the story as it stands at the moment but there is more story to tell. My biggest gripe with this prepatch isn't the content but the fact that 15-20mins per week and you are done. Last prepatch I was busy doing invasions, levelling alts and got right into it. Presently if you aren't into PVP to warmode the area there is literally nothing to do until next week to see the next chapter. Nothing for alts unless they are max level and even then it is only 4 world quests, 5 with the extra one this week which takes 15-20mins per toon to do if you want to do that too.
Garbage writing is what this is.
Finally the horde must face the fact that they arent the good guys by a long shot.
WoW writers wanna be GoT writers but without good writing and plotwow, does this SUCK
"Hope fails. Now you understand?"- Sylvanas.Delaryn did not. Alliance did not. Some of the Horde even did not. With that said, every escalation in war is valid. The Warchief did some good showing that there is no hope actually. For no one. That's why in some universe, Sun Tzu wrote in The Art of War:"If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected ."There is no moral in War. Only victory.Assigning moral attributes in a faction during war, is wrong.
The only way I can see this end up being morally grey is if somehow Sylvannas is being controlled or manipulated by the being formerly known as Bolvar in much the same way he was able to use the Death Knights during the legion campaign to set up something, this could be part of the plan somehow. Otherwise it just feels like lazy writing.
Is Thrall going to be next to turn evil? Seems Blizzard take great joy in turning beloved characters from Warcraft III into twisted mockeries of their former self. First Jaina, now Sylvanas (been signs for a while, but now she's confirmed 100% evil). Why can't we just have the nice characters from Warcraft III stay nice? Okay, maybe Sylvanas wasn't exactly nice in Warcraft III post-death, but she was still written as being on the side of good when rebelling against the Scourge and securing a future for her people. Now she just wants to kill everything.
