Why were people here in the comments expecting so much from a .7 patch? Is this your frist time playing WoW? You need to calibrate your expectations properly
So the item was used during the fourth war, but then something happened? What about the people? Sure they might mysteriously disappear, but why did nobody mount an expedition to figure out what happened before now? Did nobody care about the relatives they had there that was lost? The story here is incredibly thin lol.
This looks cool, I can't wait to complain about it
Where is the story?
Can't believe we're actually getting ring transmog now.
Why does it always have to be some convoluted bullcrap, timegated, weekly rotations, donating resources to open up a subzone. This is why nobody likes these zones and this is why everyone loved the Timeless isle so much, just a simple zone with many rares, you run around and kill them. Stop with this useless artificial gated grind blizzard.
Really glad they're referencing Azerite in a new place. I was a bit disappointed we never saw any evidence of world-spanning problems like Azerite or the Legion invasion in future expansions. I was just saying weeks ago on a discord I wish there was at least a crashed, overgrown Legion ship somewhere on the Isle of Dorn, or evidence of Azerite deposits. This feels like we're exploring an island expedition years later, and that's a cool idea.
Another boring content and totally out of the main story, as if the main objective was to have fun and hang out in an mmo...... Blizzard, get serious
Why all the negative comments? It is still content and better than nothing. Also the ring will be a huge boost to pushing keys and mythic raiding.
This sounds amazing! Return to the Forbidden Reach was one of my favorite patches, and this sounds like an even more engaging version of that. I loved how it brought people together for a little while - some of us out of dungeons and raids. This sounds perfect! Wooo!
Another anniversary patch....of Forbidden Reach. Great. Borrowed power, island that won't be visited after the next patch. Ring BiS borrowing power from whatever gems. /sigh Blizz, innovate please.
How many more Mysterious Islands does Azeroth have?
It's cool to see the devs showing us things and being passionate about what they are making, regardless of all the negativity in here and folks acting like blizzard never re-uses systems or designs i.e. forbidden reach. like we've been doing world quests since legion, and they did a lot of new styles of events in dragonflight that I think they're right to try to iterate on and improve and make more friendly for players over time as the content becomes less relevant. it'll be a process, and I'm def looking forward to any new delve info and who our next delve companion might end up being.
