Not very impressive. Have you seen Arms Warriors with any %HP Condemn and 1.5 min no rage cost on abilities anima? 2 shot layer 8 bosses.
Got 200k with condemn lol
The problem is the investment of time for an unpredictable outcome based on random drops makes it an unsatisfying experience.
My favorite build is on my Brewmaster Monk where I would get the Fart Cloud power that dealt damage equal to 50% of the healing i did using Vivify every second for 3 seconds.Spinning into elite packs and healing myself then standing still while i basically healed things to death is GREAT.It's not as good on WW though, think Brewmaster gets a boost to healing done in Torghast that makes the power really good
Affliction lock with haste stacked and 2-3 Mark of Borrowed Power, OH yea bosses don't last long.
*insert Ring of Fire joke*
Add the power of Mirror Image spawning on Blink (Shimmer) and combine that with power of mawrat killing giving you more Shimmer charges ;-)
Should have filmed my recent run :(I was lucky to get this combo of powers and I literally one-shot the last boss in layer 8.https://imgur.com/a/OXFIOXJ
Bit off topic here, but anyone know what marking bar addon that is they are using? :)
This is my main build for havoc. Make sure not to use immolation aura when it is already up, as that resets the damage.
This article, several issues:Availability: This requires using a potency conduit that is not our best unless we have this combination, three repeat near-mandatory anima powers (albeit, Uncommon), one mandatory anima power (Rare). I usually do see Immolation Flux, however, I have gone an entire run without seeing one - I have seen three in one run only once. Grim Tinder is about 1 in 3/4 of my runs. To put it mildly, this combination is pretty rare at best.Strength: About 6k dps from the combo - pretty lowball. You can add in generic DPS to probably top this out at about 8k dps. I have seen single anima powers from other classes put this in the dust.Alternatives: A difficult to get, low power combo, by itself would not be amazing. However, the idea that this is something great is almost a parody, because for DH this is not actually relatively untrue - DH anima powers are so poor and boring that getting this combination is actually a good thing. This especially rings true for VH - 95% of our powers are either fluff (extra melee range), percent increase on low dps abilities (do more damage with Sigil of Flame, wooo), or survability (which we don't need). The Resonant Mawfang anima power (10% Max Health interrupt, Rare) was nice and reliable, then removed (or might as well have been). The ability to stack the Growing Inferno conduit with Grim Tinder was nice, then capped to be a footnote. One of the issues with VH in Torghast is that our single target dps is very low, and nearly all the anima powers either buff non-elite/boss situations (like Elysian Decree, which is nice burst but overall low dps if only used on cd) or percentage buff weak single target dps abilities. There is only one anima power I can think of that I actually care to see to make my run go any faster: Corruption Antenna - a nice dot that does not rely on our weak single target abilities and is only Uncommon (and generic to all classes). Basically, I rely on getting Corruption Antenna or having a boring slow run - at least with Corruption Antenna it is just boring and somewhat slow. Even Scouring Rags of Torghast (Elysian Decree no cd when hits a mawrat, Epic), and Tormentor's Spiked Noose (Imprison charms, Epic), only speed up the part that is not slow anyway (mob packs) - in fact, you can largely just skip mob packs as they de-aggro and you don't care about the anima powers since they don't speed up the end of floor boss. It would help if elites/bosses called in frequent mawrats and perhaps the occasional low-health, high-dps add. Preferably, they would actually put in some play-altering powers that felt fun.To be fair, VH can do Torghast pretty fine, it is just slow and super boring - which as I see it is just as much a problem. To put in contrast, Monks get a Common (!) anima power (Corrosive Dosage) that does 50% of their healing every second (!) to all targets around the healed target - just one of these powers is enough to out dps my VH no matter what I get, and most runs I see several of these (stacks, which quite frankly wrecks every other class in dps). Oh, and you can put it on multiple party members. Yay for Monks.
One of my favorite runs so far, 3 stacks of Time Warp increasing the passing of time, and a bunch of haste related things. /watch?v=dLn1bDYtauo
I assume this was layer 8? (Can you tell in the video?) That's a pretty important point to any of these types of videos...
