Same goes for the rostrum of transformation (dragonriding mount customization thing). This breaks A New Set of Horns as you can't complete it when you're questing up to 70.
The change happened with the release of 10.2.7 (at least in EU), portal worked before that but required level 70 as soon as the servers popped online.
The best part of this is that the article picture looks like the dragons are giving the portal the finger.
Blizzard spaghetti code in a nutshell.
You cannot customize your dragon as well. A small indie company...
My goodness there are a lot of emotional wrecks here. It is a bug, they are working on it. Brush off your Cheeto crumbs, walk outside and take a break. Your mom will be in to clean up in a bit.
man, my level 64 alt didn't have its hearth set in valdrakken, and the dragonscale zeppelin isn't even on the map in durotar and there's none of the NPCs where the zeppelin is supposed to be. completely hard stuck out of the zone and from levelling, basically :(
Lul. Worst change ever. Imagine unable to go back to Stormwind in Legion lol. Funny. Who wanted this again?
Shwew! I was wondering what was going to happen with the characters I started over there but had brought back to Org and SW.
The thing is: why does this go live? It worked before. And why have restrictions in the first place? If someone wants to hav their level 1 bank char in Valdrakken, so what? This bug occured in the first place, because someone demanded inconvenience.
Players: Wooo this is fun!Blizzard: Put an end to this degeneracy now!
total nonsense just why what's the point?
Delete your CACHE folder under the Retail installation (while game is closed) and the portal will function as before. This will also solve the issue with the Rostrum for changing your Dragonriding mounts appearances. For Windows, it is this folder:https://i.imgur.com/wFcJuMH.png
