I like it. I do hope they make another colour/icon for weekly/half-weekly quests too, though. Blue for daily, orange for legendary, yellow for everything else is a little vague.
Those can't seriously be the design of the icons, right?They stuck really bad looking (it's supposed to be a laurel?) wings on an ! and ? .... If you are going to go around and add extra ornaments to highlight the legendary quests use something more adventurous. Like something that resembles the dragon border rare's have or move away from ! and use a completely different symbol. Skull, Star, treasure, scroll/parchment, fist ect or use something instead of a shield behind the quest marker. Like crossed swords or something.I think the ! with wings looks bad.
This patch is borrowing heavily from BWL and Dragon Soul - both of which had legendaries associated to their raids.Perhaps we are seeing a reimagined Thunderfury or Fangs of Father?Professions are more important at the moment which leads well into a crafted legendary like Thunderfury.However Fangs of the Father is far more closely linked to the current expansion.
Here's hoping there is a ret paladin legendary in the works!
I would like to note that the the first two icons, the hat and the urn ARE related to the Niffen, the third one however is not.UI_MajorFaction_Shadowflame could just be a naming scheme for this patch, so people temper expectations because I've only seen one new reputation on PTR.
The peeps saying the icon look bad probably aren't even designers. They look really good, can't wait to see them in-game! Very happy with the art team this expansion. <3

I will say that the change to legendary quest markers will be a good bit of QoL for people doing old content. The Trivial Quest marker and the Trivial Legendary Quest marker are a little too similar right now.
How bout new icons and markers for the Tuskar Tackle boxes....
Truthfully I feel like we need to pull away from one off items that are seriously impactful to a classes power. Given 9/10 times their hard to obtain items that drop from the second or last boss and seriously alter what a player is and isn't able to do DPS and HPS wise. I get their flavor items meant to spice things up, yet it just doesn't seem to work too well in the end without some method of obtaining the item outside of the raid over a longish period of time.
