Is your progress saved from within the floors or only when you finish a layer? For example, if I reach layer 2, floor 10 and exit Torghast, will I have to start from layer 2, floor 1 next time I enter or will I start from floor 10?I am wondering this since every layer has 18 floors, it might take a while for a player to do that in one go.
I would be interested to know what class you play because I've found my healers and tanks have a far easier time than my dps classes on 8. I think the difficulty on my so support classes feel best. I don't want this to be a chore being something I can't pause and continue later, unless I could have a lockout similar to weekly raids
It would be awesome that instead of this ugly mount, there was some unlockable buff that allows us to mount in the maw and use our preferred mounts.... I always use one mount each class, that best fits it. Now I have to ride that ugly big bear-looking skeleton rat.
Considering how extremely boring and monotone Torghast already is, another wing with even more floors....for a mount...no thank you, I am not into self mutilation.
This is going to be the most tedious and boring farm. Only thing more boring is getting the Insane title.
I understand time gating of initial content after expansion launch, but why time gate it for alts? When it's already X weeks into expansion, everything what required X weeks to unlock should be unlocked already and let players do it immediately, not force players to stay behind.
I´m one week shy of getting in there, but I am excited to see.Although 18 levels for each floor do seem like a tad much.
The whole time-gating with Torghast for alts is lame. >> Currently, you can only do one step per week. << So much for this xpac being alt friendly. I guess the game is catering to those that played the heck out of beta, chose their ONE character to do everything on and maybe at some point do an alt? Sure isn't for the casual player, RP crowd or those that like to have a few choices in their guild to do activities on - or just role a pally/druid so you can tank/heal/dps? If each has to 'earn' the right to go to the TC's that's fine - no need to send alts through anyway, but Torghast weekly locks, WHY?
I skipped a week of the chain a couple weeks ago and now I'm behind, had I known it couldn't be caught up I wouldn't have skipped it.
I've unlocked layer 8 running normal Torghast runs. Does that mean I can run a layer 8 Twisting Corridors or do I have to start over at layer 1?
