pain pain immeasurable pain, why go back on CNs weapon system?
So, basically like the old tier drop system back in vanilla WoW. Interesting change.I suppose it make sense since domination gears in SoD raids are also direct drop but then again multiple classes can wear them.
Horrible implementation. Make it drop tokens, this way it's much easier for players to get theirs set and you don't have to stack classes for better chances of set drops.
Looks like people will complete their 4-set bonus 10 months into the raid. Yikes.
if i remember correctly the tier items could or should be craftable in the outraid zone and drop of them inside raid is additional opportunity(like bonus roll) to aquire them
Amazes me how Blizzard keep improving on systems (AP being automatically absorbed in BFA, weapon / tier tokens to mitigate the need for class stacking) and then seem to un-learn it shortly after and go back to a worse system.
Do remember they said you can buy the tier pieces yeah?
So I'd like to remind everyone of that time back in WoD during blackrock foundry when you had tokens and a piece that dropped off the last boss that gave you a quest to go get a piece of your choice.
I understand the reasoning of this, but this reduces the chances of people being able to obtain a 2p on the first week. Since you're basically left out with three opportunities instead of five. Unless you clear heroic, in which you double to six chances instead of ten chances.
Horrible decision, sadly as expected.
80% of player base dont even have need to get 4p bonus first week, yet here you are, complain about nothing, trashin around, not able to find all info about everything :)
Race to world first is going to be so good this tier. There are so many places for best guilds to show their min maxing skills plus last 3 bosses are not being tested.
Are we sure there's no tokens? I recall at least one tier prior where the dungeon journal showed the pieces they would create rather than the token
everyone here complains like they are world first raiders and this effects them greatly when a majority of these fools will not be in a situation where this effects them at all. Make it make sense
There's still guaranteed ways of getting it on a specific slot. I think if they added a quest to kill the jailer for one guaranteed piece of your choice would fix a lot of the bad feeling between the first and lets say 5th week. I do kinda get that they dont want healers and tanks feel obligated to grind m+ for every slot to have higher than normal/heroic tier just to be able to funnel to dps. Or maybe they feel like full 1 class splits are not going to happen as often as 3 or 4 class runs to trade the tokens.
