I miss El's Anglin. It was one of the reasons I got really interested in fishing.
Miss you, El! :(Here's an archive link to the site as well. A little more updated with Warlords thanks to the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20150131174704/http://www.elsanglin.com/
El's Anglin' was the best! I took a long hiatus from the game and when I came back, it was gone. I was so sad. :(We miss you, El!Thanks for the link, Ashley!
To this day I still wonder what happened to El... needless to say, El's Anglin' was always a big help, and I always admired the effort put into the website. I hope El is okay, whatever they are doing!
I miss a lot of the old sites.El's. TKA something. EJ. Thottbot. Good times.
El was a great site- deeply missed
Has it really been over two years since El's shut down? Time really does fly.Such a good resource to that specific chunk of the game, more in-depth than it had any right to be. But it helped me win the Fishing Tourney my first time, and it was always the resource I went back to every expansion once I finally decided to sit down and do the latest fishing activities. Well wishes to El wherever he may be.
This serie is beyond great, thank you Wowhead and Neryssa :)
I miss El so much :(
I had to relinquish my Low-Sodium title, El. We miss you.
Thank you for the link to the homage El site! There is a lot of really great info on fishing to be found there.
I got way too excited when I saw El's Anglin' on a post headline. I guess here's my gold coin in the fountain for him, then.
Love ya EL :(
Ahh man, seeing the video of the Red Shirt Guy and the duo of Alex and Metzen. Dammn, miss that!
Am I the only one who read the portion about El's site and thought that something pretty bad must've happened? Seems unlikely to me that a person running a site like that would just up and disappear, letting the hosting lapse and no word of what's going on. A person who runs a website for years isn't the type of person who's going to suddenly vanish without at least a farewell post.
