Removed. And yes the Hunter rare is THE most stupid cave to get into, even if you've done it a thousand times. Again, twat trees in the middle don't help the experience.
I disagree with the comment that the orders without matts are bad.I run many alts, and having the ability to do their weekly orders without swapping back and forth to set up the components is very handy. The BIG issue with the change is not that they allow lack of complete provision of matts, but rather that they DID NOT TELL YOU that the order had insufficient matts, and that was no way to filter them! So, again, it's not that it was a bad idea, it's just that it was poorly implemented.(Rewatching that part, I think that is what was perhaps being said)This is unfortunately true of a number of the good ideas that have occurred in Dragonflight.
Dragonflight is def upper mid tier but best first patch of an expansion? not even close, also see dark clouds on the horizon with the ring being added in this patch, blizzard not even being able to go a whole .1 patch with out adding borrowed power again. That coupled with the horrendous new gearing system that is coming in 10.1 I don't see DF keeping it's momentum. it already left a sour taste in my mouth that it was rush out leaving them to add features that were clearly meant for launch later (evoker 3rd spec, dracthyr transmog/amor wearing, furbolg rep, balance or lack there of in M+ especially and refusal to fix before end of season, work order system launching half baked and basically unusable for public orders, etc)Overall though it is a good start, I hope i'm wrong about the direction and they course correct to just give us more of what we liked, also they're destroying it in the alt department this expansion, the catch up gear is dropping like candy which is a god send for those of us with 1 of each class, the reps being boosted after main, really really stand out job in that department.
The Forbidden Reach is mostly inaccessible, useless terrain (i.e. mountains), with a few caves and underground structures dotted here and there for rares. Such a weird, frustrating design. It's a tiny zone pretending to be a large one.
I just dont get what this patch was supposed to cater to.It didnt add anything to raiding or dungeons. It added a ring which just infuriated the playerbase because it seemed like the devs didnt understand what we wanted after all.It showed the flaws in the system when it came to rare locations and caves - which pushes people to addons rather than use ingame systems which again I thought was something they were trying to fix.Its just a patch for casuals that like to just fly around and added more power for people too casual to AOTC already. They should have added a "fate" difficulty to raiding, a new dungeon or affix to the M+ rotation, add a crafting path to tier gear... anything for players who are burning out on instanced content.
Folks need to stop leaning on the 'borrowed power' thing. If we removed everything - weapon procs, jewelry effects, all embellishments, tier sets, etc. then gear would be extremely boring all the time. Having a catch-up item with unique effects for less than 2 months as something to utilize until the next tier is not a problem, it helps people finish up what they haven't completed yet for Season 1 and gives something more interesting as catch-up gear. This is also not even the .1 patch, it adds quite a bit for simply being an in-between patch.
