Well, that's a topic I hadn't expected... or heard anyone talk about. I haven't thought about this consciously, but I've definitely noticed that people perform better after a 5-10 minute break. I myself tend to just sit around during most of those breaks (because I am epic like that), but in the light of this talk, I think I'll start walking around :)
Awww... cute 'lil doggy ^.^
i'll take that dog off ur hands bro. >:3
Can someone summarize? I'm on 3G in a rural area in Canada (Highly usage based) and watching 11 minute videos is costly :(This is a topic that interests me, not only because of WoW, but this may also transfer other computer based applications.
You heard him say it, more frozen pizza.
Definitely true, I stand by this 100%. I actually plan dinner for about two hours into a raid, solving both hunger and walk-around problems. Whenever someone else goes AFK, I go down and grab a glass of water, or a chocolate. It totally helps. On another note: That dog is the only thing that could ever be cooler then Lore in a video, ever.
Very good discussion, definitely going to recommend this to both my guilds since the one does extensive raiding and the other is starting. Gonna go for a walk now...:DThat is a very cool dog...:)
Excuse me while I create my own brand of frozen pizzas, place the tag of "gamer" on it, and profit immensely.
Best episode to watch after playing video games for 12 hours straight XD. Sundays = epic gameplay daysEach time its break time I generally do some squats or push-ups or stretching. Completely blank out on everything you've done to reset and divert your focus so you that when you do come back on it, you will look at it differently. Not much differently, but it does help.As for energy drinks, they won't actually cause much "dependence" with the exception of the Caffine. 99.92% of gamers are already dependent on caffine but taking an energy drink in addition to whatever you are taking that has caffine in it can make it that when you don't get any caffine, you go into withdraw and (as he said) give caffine headaches. The B-vitamins and amino acids that are in a lot of these drinks are actually things your body wants and are the main component for the physical energy boost. the caffine adds the mental boost, but when your body feels more energetic, your reflexes can become better too :P. Btw, if you wanna know if your dependent on caffine, don't drink any for 2 days and see if you get a headache by the 3rd day (that means no chocolate, soda, energy drinks, coffee.)
Good video loreCute dog :)Thanks for actually making it short unlike PST which is to long for me to watch.
Good topic. It's very easy to overlook fitness and the effect it has on your gaming.
