I can't say that I've much, if any, confidence in this "OnLive" thingie. But that's just me being pessimistic.
That looks really cool. Here's the thing though - the latency is a make or break deal. If they can bring that down to a reasonable level I can see that being awesome. If not, it will fail.
That broadband usage is a bit too much for most people.

Are you trying to blow my eardrums out with your ads?so loud!
This service will never make it outside the states imo. Not only are countries like Australia capped monthly usage for every single ISP at around 50gb, but they certainly don't appreciate any customer choking the surrounding neighborhood by streaming 400mb in 10mins.
Surely sounds like THE FUTURE. Not certain about when is this future, but I know it can't be done before, THE FUTURE.
Are people with a PC Setup going to play against people with the Xbox Controller? Might just be me, but that would suck balls.
I heard about onlive a few years ago and it sounded amazing. I looked into it about a year ago and they said that they were ready to launch besides some latency issues. Obviously those haven't really been fixed. So yeah. If they fix the latency it will be an awesome feature for people who don't have a gaming computer. Possibly add some sound/graphics/key mapping customization.
The only people that can find OnLive useful are people with very old PC and very fast uncaped internet.I highly doubt there are many of this people =)
Interesting idea which at least for multiplayer games could well be the way of the future from this video I'd say its still got a way to go.
