For Acidmaw and Dreadscale, each worm has a corresponding debuff that, depending on whether they are mobile or immobile, will be cast on certain players. If a worm is mobile (i.e. kitable), then they will have a frontal cone breath attack that applies the debuff to most likely your tank and anyone standing in front of it. If immobile, the worm will target a random raid member and spit a "bomb" of the poison/bile to that person and will apply the debuff to them along with anyone in the bomb's radius. With this said, it is good to know who has the burning bile debuff at all times so people who get the toxin can run to them and get it cured from one tick of the bile's AoE damage effect. Just remember that after it's cured, they should get away to avoid any unnecessary damage. In summary, if Acidmaw is immobile, whoever gets the toxin should just run to the off-tank on Dreadscale. If Acidmaw is mobile, whoever gets the bile should run to the Acidmaw tank and cleanse them of their toxin, then back away.
Hmm, all of these fights seem to be incredibly easy. I'm hoping to convince my guild to give these a shot sometime this week. Thanks for the guide!
I had it done a few days after the encounter was released. We just had a ton of stuff to take care of, so the Strategist was pushed a little further back. Jaraxxus is also ready, I am just waiting for him to appear in the DB.
Your info on Icehowl is a bit squiffy. Ferocious Butt is not an attack used on the main tank, but it is in fact the "Charge" part of the Massive Crash ability. I tell a lie. That's "Trample"It is important to note that no one should be hit by Trample, ever. Mages should not iceblock to avoid the damage, since if Icehowl so much as hits someone with it, even if that hit doesn't result in a kill, he will enrage. This Enrage will very quickly kill a tank, but a fast hunter can dispel it. The other reason not to get hit by Trample is that, if no one is hit, Icehowl will instead smash into the wall. For the next 15 seconds, he will be stunned and take 100% extra damage. The other thing to note is that the raid should always spread in a circle around Icehowl so that as few people as possible are hit with his Arctic Breath ability. (Think Hodir trash.)
I guess I did a better job in Icehowl on his page. But then, Strategists assume that you have some understanding of the fight.
Our guild has done 25m both weeks that they have been out and we've always counted 5 Snobolds coming out and I have been able to count 5 from 10m as well.
I'll make sure to check that tomorrow when I go. It's possible, I am not 100% sure about the number.
It is definitely four from 10-man.
Are you sure? I was also told that he gains the Rising Rage every time you taunt him... Which kind of makes sense.
