11th july!
July 17th seems way too late for the amount of stuff we have to do.Silithus Questline will probably also end in 8.0, as the data may not even be in the live game like we thought since it just now got added to the PTR. We have at least 4 weeks. 2 Teldrassil, 1 Lorderon, and 1 Silithus. So at the very latest. it has to be July 10th. I also would think they would want a week break between the the final part of pre patch and live game. I think 8.0 will come out on July 3rd, unlocking Silithus.quest end. Then the week after, the lead up to Burning of Teldrassil will begin.Pre patch for BFA is at least as big as Legion. MoP and WoD hardly had anything, but they still came out a month before. Cata lasted 8 weeks and Legion lasted 6 weeks. So if it was the 17th, that is less than a month. They also said there were some things secrets coming out that they had never tried before, nor have we seen. We also have a post season pvp season.
17th or 24th I think, that feels most fitting for it.
Aw man I hope it's as late as possible. I've still got like 16 tower challenges to do D:
17th seems way too late to me. 3rd would be odd considering 4th of July. I'm thinking either the 10th or possibly even this Tuesday. They tested most of it on beta, so it doesn't necessarily all have to be ptr tested. Regardless, if it IS the 17th, getting through it all will feel rushed especially for people that can't play constantly.
4th or 11th i think.
3-10 July will be ok
Nasa is busy watching some people being launched into the cosmosstuff like that
I hope it's as late as possible.
The MoP pre-patch was all of 2 weeks, so there’s precedent for shorter pre patches. They’re still testing content in the PTR and nobody’s in the office during the week of the 4th (especially with it falling on a Wednesday! Ugh!), so imo it’s a 50/50 shot at the 10th or the 17th
1 month prior was my estimate - for logical reasons, now that would of been the 13th, but since that's not tuesday it would only be logical to have it the 17th, although not gonna be surprised if its the 10th and the arena summer finals are played based on legion rules and gameplay (before prepatch hit).
Way to poach from those of us actually finding this stuff without giving credithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsciRUR7cfU
Either way - we already know it will be an unfinished clusterf-ck. The recent beta build updates have proven that much. They just crank up numbers so people can 'play the spec' despite stuff behaving like classic or pre cata mechanicsJust to name a fewNo haste scaling on dots (classic behavior)orhaste reducing the duration of dots but not increasing the amount of ticks per cast (pre cata behavior)^the above on the same class acting differently for the same spell between 2 specsmassively overtuned buffs examplesv hunters were basically nonexistant throughout the alpha and beta - now - instead of fixing stuff they've just buffed mongoose strike by doubling the dmg output.People run away in fear if they see a hunter with a melee weapon because that - spammable ability - hits harder than the hardcast 12 sec cooldown aimed shot of a marksmanThe forced release date is messing things up big time here. That big 8.1 'we are going to fix everything patch' better arrive sooner rather than later. Because the PvP will be down to 'this class isn't done yet so they behave like a korean pay 2 win raidboss power level character'
