Sounds good. Prices are lower then what I expected... But please... Don't make me buy 5 Accessory just to get a trinket... split it up
They really have a hard time letting go of adding rng to rng. It's more than a design philosophy now..it feels like an addiction. Great change overall though.
This is sweet
Currently there are no necklaces at all from rng korthian armaments, i guess thats why there is no specific item to buy it. They might possibly add it later, as you can only get neck from rares. Still, this will help alts greatly.
So the next question is, do these respect current spec? Or am I going to keep getting 2H weapons for my Prot Pally? Also what happens to existing armaments? Still full RNG?
Oh great, now they're going to remove the rng AFTER I've finished gearing up all my alts. Not going to resub for this. I'm done being abused by Blizzard.
Honestly for most slots it will still be best to farm specific rares. Will be great for a few specific items like the Str trinket.
Would be nice if I could trade in the armaments I have saved right now for slot-specific armaments. I've got like 20 from drops, just chilling on an alt right now.
Weapon should be Main hand weapon and Off hand. for Shield/Off hand options.Otherwise its still quite random
Blizzard always steps forward only to get back twice. I mean why they have to add "rng" in the first place? We had benthic gears and it was cool (not from the raider's perspective who were obliged to have the BIS ones) now they are fixing their mistake but also putting ring/trinket in a same cache. I mean seriously guys.
Why would i even bother with these items. I can just buy a 200ilvl crafted set + a 230 piece. I guess the "weaponry" is the biggest winner here. As for upgrading the items I outgear that grind in no time. The whole Korthian upgrade system is just so bad. I'm 249 ilvl equipped, done my dailies almost every day, and still not Tier 6, which allows me to upgrade to max gear.
9.1.5 waiting room
fecking sweet jeebus yes!
Just add it to the list of feedback that Alpha/Beta and PTR testers raised. All of these changes at once with the systems is almost comical. Anyone saying that this is Blizzard being in good faith, may I direct you to the later patches of legion and bfa?
Hopefully this marks the beginning of the end of unreasonable RNG. The game needs what it had in its glory days: drops from content that players want to do with currencies available for those that don't engage in that content and/or don't get the drops in a timely fashion. There's no need for any more RNG than that on the gearing up process... save the excessive RNG on top of RNG for rare cosmetics or other rewards and trust in your game to remain compelling enough to be playable even after gearing up.
