100% removing them from gcd is the solution. Such a stupid move and stupid hill to die on
Yeah, I love the gameplay involved in pressing back-to-back GCD cooldowns on my DK and not doing anything for 3 seconds...
If only they'd extend the resto ascendance logic to all the buttons that was moved to the GCD, because currently the ele/enh ones still do nothing impactful on cast. Similarly with the previous blade flurry and like half of the current major cooldowns of other classes/specs.
I used to not mind the GCD change, but I really feel it now after playing with this change througout BFA. The problem is not that its easy or hard, it's that it doesn't feeeel good to press your cooldowns. It just feels off. The feeling of exploding with power is just not there anymore, and this was a really fun feeling.
Yes, I feel so IMMERSED and ENTERTAINED when on my prot pally I stand there for what feels like hours on end, watching things repeatedly biting my face off while I WAIT for ANYTHING to come off cooldown.GG blizz.
the only solution is removing them from the GCD.Anything else is kowtowing to blizzard arrogance.
"Warlock Night Fae Soul Rot updated."I don't really feel it, maybe plant some plague mush to spread a dot would be better.
Having a ton of cooldowns you just use at the same time, probably macroed, was just lame in pre-legion gameplay. It requires more skill to use your cooldown at an opportune time than just mashing your kill-em-all-macro. But I agree that it feels somewhat underwhelming to press a cooldown button and have nothing happen at that moment. The Blade Flurry idea of having the button do damage directly when pressed is awesome. The best of both worlds in my opinion. Those who advocate for no GCDs at all should probably play games of another genre...
