Few tips for the alliance side, (ones that I had issues with) with undercity, to get into the sewer pipe, you have to talk to the npc outside (north east of undercity) to change it back to the old style undercity, else the sewer pipe will be blocked off. It is faster going this way. Once at the end of the sewer pipe, go stealth and turn right and up on a platform will be your mark. You can fly up to the mark, but watch for patrolling bats.Thunderbluff, fly in but land away from the mark in a safe spot, then go stealth. There are 4 elite guards you have to be aware of, 2 to the west of him and 2 patrolling. Stealth up to the mark and pick pocket his key from him. This unlocks his armour which reduces 99% of damage. Without his armour, he is basically a one hit kill ,and you can get out of there. Hit him fast though as he will try and run to the guards. A glider can come in handy for escape if you don't have time to mount.Orgrimmar the target is a small female NPC that will be on the far right hand side in the auction house. I had a huge tauren blocking her, but I managed to get her down before the horde killed me. Took a res sickness to save the trouble of getting my body, then hearthed back to the Dalaran rogue base to hand it in.Lastly, you can get the colour mount you want, no matter what spec you did the main body of the quests in. I am outlaw, but I liked the assassinations dark bird, so I did all of the questing as outlaw, but handed the last quest in as assassination and got the dark bird instead of the red outlaw one. Just be sure you have done all of the introductory quests for the spec that you are handing it in as, so it counts.
I sure am glad that they didn't make this a scenario, so that if you're attempting this in BfA or later on a 110 rogue (the earliest possible time you can do it), the guards spot you from miles away being level 120 and you're just $%^&ed right from the start. Yet another brilliant display of Blizzard's patented "replayability" they boast so proudly. Clown company.
Quite a few poeple have clearly already mentioned it but I'll throw in my two cents as well. As of BfA this isn't just a pain, it is a downright nightmare. On some level I get what Blizz was trying to accomplish but to not instance it is a massive middle finger to the class. A class which is squishy already, now has to obtain their mount by either reaching the max level of the following expac, or take on NPC's and war-mode players much higher than their own level (not an easy feat). This quest line clearly had no forethought or future proofing involved.I've been trying to finish this on my 115 rogue, which on any other toon so far has been more than enough for mount acquisition, but I have made it as far as Orgrimmar and pretty much get one-shotted by the overwhelming amount of 120 NPC's and war-mode players. If I wasn't already frustrated with this mount quest line I have just about given up after over 30 deaths, 2 armor repairs and a rez sickness. I typically have infinite patience but this is pushing it. I think I have spent more time running back to my corpse (on avg 1400 yards away) each time than the amount of time I have spent acquiring all of my other class mounts (this will be my 10th if I ever finish it).
So like... where is the guide for this? I completed the order hall questline, where do I go now?
