Ever see that famous picture of Jesus that was put through a botched "restoration" and ended up looking like a badly drawn monkey? I think that would be an appropriate comparison...
Ruining* the helm.Honestly, it doesnt even look like something that the Primus made visualy lol, and for visual-contrast even the Legion crafted lightforged crowns look more impressive astheticaly.
Thanks for the spoiler on the main page...
Going to have to agree with the discontent regarding the Crown of Wills model. It just doesn't stand out in comparison to even the crown models used in BfA. Probably too late by this point to go back to the drawing board, though. :(
This just serves the same purpose as the legendary cloak in BfA. Except being an actual piece of gear, it is a quest item. An Item, we need for last 2 bosses of the raid to "overcome corruption/domination magic".
I like how Wowhead still insists on saying that the classic quest has the same name, it's missing an S, and never had anything to do with this. The datamine clearly said they were taking an old thing of binding and forging it for a new purpose, clearly it was always going to be this. Also, love how a bunch of readers latched onto the old classic thing, ignored the line about reforging an item of binding and were poopooing the entire situation because of it, "Oh they're reusing this old thing how lazy blah blah blah" y'all lack reading comprehension.
oh shiny! i like it!
What the hell is this, Helm of Domination forged into a shiny bucket?
Please, just ruin the story a little more. We need that Steve Danuser. Please do it.
This video is the perfect picture of what Danuser has done with WoW. Takes something that was great, a little rough around the edges and needed a lot of work but could be fixed, takes it and then turns it into some ham fisted, half baked crown that looks generic AF with zero weight behind it other than what it bastardized. Not only that but absolutely turns it into something completely unrecognizable to what WoW was years ago. GG Danuser, what a relief we got someone who thinks what D&D did to Game of Thrones was a good conclusion to an epic series.
so we make a helm of wills for the fight against Zovaal or to free the scourge from domination magic? If its for the fight against Zovaal, then its not effective AT ALL as one of the raid mechanics forces us to line of sight the boss so we are not insta-mindcontrolled.
May I ask what is going to happen at Azeroth with the Scourge? You know, "There must always be a Lich King!" Now with the remnants of the crown disappeared will they just roam freely?Or Blizz's explanation just WOTLK 2: Electric Boogaloo?
Wow Blizzard! You did it! You created the first "important" gear I never wanna transmog into!
Now dont you dare tell us we have a new AP item for borrowed power....
