Not to pile on but... yeah, a few too many roses... Less is more.Anyone have a dressing room link?
One burning question I have is why they decided to make another set inspired by the design of the heritage armor? It was highly disliked when it released and it is still one of the most disappointing race set. They managed to make a variant of this design with even bigger shoulderpads, less 3D, socks as boots and a tophat that they had to ruin with that red flower on top.The handpainted textures are well done though, it's a shame the skills of the artist were not used for a better concept.
It’s a literal clown suit… the choice of what pieces are 3D and what are sleek do not do the transmog any favors. The ruffles on the outside of the shoulders are unnecessary, gloves should have been a 3D model that makes the arms poof out like an actual noble’s shirt. The flat chest, pants, and boots look silly when paired with that stupid belt. The belt looks like they took a cravat and pinned it to their pants. The boots having that tacky gold edging around them look awful and causes them to stick out against the simple pants and shirt. It should have been made to look like a trench-coat using those new pant models like in Druid tier 2 set. Colors should not have been the bright gold but a toned down more copper color or tarnished gold for the edging. The ruffles need to go or be relegated to the cravat area and as a few touches around the wrists; they do not need to be on the pants at all.The belt needs to be completely removed; it just doesn’t look right in its placement.
The set is so bad, it must be why they didn't want us to test this on the PTR.
Yikes that mog is hideous.
This set is SO clearly a scrapped version of the already terrible Heritage set....... Why is it so WHITE?The fox (why?) barely even has any Gilnean flair. This is so pathetic. But of course they would be anemic rewards when it's all so Horde centric. Can't make a proper Gilnean mount when you give it to Horde players too. Whitewashing who destroyed Gilneas the whole questline and then finally allowing the Horde undisputed access to Gilneas City. Christ
another set thats just a 3d belt helm and shoulders while the boots and legs looks like *!@# and the frills on the sleeves arnt even 3d its crazy bro
Worgen also get a Gilneas hearthstone toy at the very end when you go talk to Genn in the graveyard. Just need to right click on the flowers at the grave.
This was a really disappointing storyline and very boring. They should have made Gilneas a Warfront in BfA because it would have actual felt like a good battle. This was pathetic.
You also can get a hearthstone toy that takes you back to gilneas, from Liam's grave at the end of the quest line.
Oh my goodness. That outfit is so horrendously tasteless that my eyes are burning. At least we still have the Duskhaven transmog. The fox mount is OK but it's a little weird having wolves (i.e. worgen) riding foxes.I think I would even have preferred a re-working of the Gilnean vicious saddle mount to this (without the Alliance banner, of course).
I'm so happy Genn got cucked out of revenge on Sylvanas and the Forsaken and instead deals with random Scarlet ^&*!s who appear out of nowhere only to not play a major part of the questline with the player and at the end say, "Yeah, in a way this whole thing is pretty much my fault, like entirely my fault, especially Liam's death, so imma peace out and let my *!@#-off daughter that the writers forgot about for 12 years take over my kingdom as queen. Slay queen, slay."
It was over in 8 minutes and I still have no reason to ever come back.I do have a hideous transmog, a recoloured +1 mount, and a toy I will use once every ten years when I unexpectedly need to be in Northern EK in a big hurry (but only on my worgen). Even that is iffy, since I have the pet battle teleport to Strat.
why is it a fox? wth does a fox had to do with worgens? just because they are both furries?
