Shouldn't effect anything besides Superior/Epic achievement for this expac, and disenchanting mats. More shards and less crystals until the raiding tempo and M+ season kicks off.
Does anyone anywhere still care?
Pointless change that makes no sense.
Meh, like colour ever ment something...
cool
Never understood why people think colors mean quality of loot. I thought colors meant rarity ie drop rates not item level. That’s why green is called “uncommon” blue is called “rare” etc. it’s an epic chance of drop not an epic powerful drop. Wouldn’t it be accurate to color it the same as normal heroic mythic then?
In a way it would be great if the colour of the loot better reflected the ilevel, and that with a new season came new colourisation (I.e. everything below x becomes green. Everything below y becomes blue, etc.)The colours don’t really mean anything anymore and by season 2 and 3 you can’t use colour to differentiate item power at all.
If anything this is a good change for enchanting as the blue material is unironically more rare than purple the past few expansions as virtually every piece is epic at max level.
LFR needs gear just enough to get by in world content, the less difficult content you do the less powerful your gear is. Not sure why people still struggle with this.
Not a bad change, if I recall correctly, rare gear is cheaper to repair than epic. So having mythic 0 and low mythic plus being rare (such as +2 / +3) this isn't too bad. However, still likely just things that will be polished upon launch hopefully.
BIG W.Not everything deserves to be epic. Everything in LFR should be blue at best as it's braindead content. It's perfectly fine for people to have to work a little to earn their purples and not expect hand me outs. More of this please.
It's most likely to keep crystals more rare as there will be an increase in the number of drops.
Pointless but harmless change. I mostly use LFR as transmog and it's still going to be recolors of higher raid gear, so it doesn't affect me. After 18 years of playing, I don't really care what color the text of gear is.
