They should just remove the maze part in M+ and let people pick the route they want, and keep the original maze for M0, Heroic and Normal.
It's not like MoTS trash is hard though.
Part of me wishes they would just drop the maze like in 9.1.5/9.2. The novelty hasn’t been there for a long time. Like put in a boss that you drag through each of the areas, where you have to lower it’s health with set amount of mob deaths (and then tone down mobs by w/e to make it not a terrible key).
Mists would have been an F class dungeon due to the maze if there was no addon or tricks like that. Imagine timing a 29 mins 20+ keys if you go wrong the maze more than once.

If only MDI mazes where not preset patterns that the teams know about before hand.
Okay, people do have serious issues with finding the right symbol inside the maze?Our society is freaking doomed....
Almost every class that has a ranged ability can do it , if u go to that wall at the start u can walk up on the wall about half of the heigth of the swirlly thingy and just target the closest mob ( i think it is a defender or a fox usually ) and just use a ranged ability since u don t have LoS in that spot as long as half of your boddy is looking trough the space in the wall ( did it on dh did it on mage did it on boomie did it on hunter and that s about all the characters i had that it worked but saw 0 struggle with either of em , quite an easy pull ( the 1st one ) the rest of em migth be a bit more tricy!) But i am glad that more ppl will know about this since it secures better prides most of the time
