Looks awesome !
DKs are going to have a hard time escaping the Tarragrue, they are literally turtles walking backwards with a ball and chain attached to their paws, inside a magic bubble where the gravity is 10 times higher than normal.
Hm...so the party can wipe 5, 7, 9, 11 times...the party...what if there's one who tends to die a lot, would their deaths count to the Tarrangue's release or must it be the full party?Example: group of 5, wipe 3 times but one player just keeps dying in nearly every pull. Would their dying 8 times make it the 11 deaths needed for the Tarrangue or is it that the party itself must wipe 11 times total?I'd expect, to be honest, that it doesn't matter how many times individuals groups wipe as long as it is not a whole party wipe. HOWEVER, I've learned to look for info like this. Ya never know. :D
The Tarragrue looks huge... So I guess all the layout sections are limited to very large sections so he can fit through everything to kill players?
Just checked a video of torghast and damn it looks great, I assume everything is so easy is because low floors are supposed to be a faceroll, but the gameplay seems great, definitely perfect for solo players that are good at soloing harder stuff.I just hope higher levels of the tower makes things a lot harder so we never really reach the end anytime soon. And they definitely need to give some form of gear or rly good crafting resources outside of just legendaries.
it would be nice if we had a dark fog on some floors. that we could only see the enemies when they suddenly appeared very close to us. scare, expectation would make this climb epic.
amazing! Check preach stream last night were he 3 manned it. Looked incredible!
As someone said before, it looks like Palace of the Dead or Heavens on High from ff14, but it looks really nice.
First thing i really like alot, solo content/instance, the first one directly at release(magetower visions were pretty late in the expansion)Love it.
I did it on my mage and it was SO MUCH FUN!No loot yet (just placeholders).
Meh, I'm not even going to bother reading up on this until it is crystal clear if it has a resource-grind and time-gate system just to get a "key" to play 1 run.Aka, is this horrific visions system where they have it setup so 95% of your gametime is spent "earning" (by doing boring un-fun slog content) the 5% of fun? Or is it the M+ system where fun is 100%?
Someone said it already with regards to Tarragrue being the Dahaka, but the concept as a whole: traps, the chase and increasing difficulty bring me back to PoP Warrior Within. This is not necessarily a bad thing as I loved the series as a whole (I prefer the other two of the trilogy just for its interactions but that aside). From what I'm seeing, I'm liking it so far.
