I assume that these are done by people who are not xmogging the artifact weapons? Do you have stats on how many people are actually xmogging the weapons instead of finding something to match them? (I think every one of my characters has the weapon xmogged.)
I do wonder how much of this is due to people switching specs. It seems like every spec shares two transmog sets between the other specs
half of them are awful transmog options sets
I didn't have the heart to transmog such an epic weapon as Doomhammer (well I tried once with another mace I love, but it just felt wrong to hide it). Thankfully the mog I've been sporting for years already matches it pretty well - a mix of reds and oranges from scarlet monastery, a couple of stormcaller's pieces and of course the stylin' crimson hat. I think ultimately I'll be mogging all of my characters around their weapons, and this list will come in handy. Thanks for putting this together! ^-^
I'd transmog out of my ele shaman's weapon but it doesn't appear in combat if I do...
As unholy DK, I like using the lfr versions of the All-Consuming Maw and Cyclopean Dread (the glow effect is the wrong color on the link) sets. The green glow of Apocalypse goes well with them. The order hall set works nicely too.
im really surprised to see immolation instead of aegis for the ret paladin set. and although the silver hand armor being really cool i expected something like righteous or one of the pvp gladiator sets for holy and protectionmust say however that mogging the weapon itself only presents a problem in my case for ashbringer being such an iconic weapon, dont really care for the appearances of the other two
Many of these sets are redundant, and some of them do not even match the weapons
Lazy.

You forgot that the popular transmog for BM hunter artifact weapons is to transmog the artifact weapon ASAP
Well....donna go and paint everyone into a corner.....Let T-MOG reign on its on ;)
@tiggerbox29: This exactly. Barely anything has shifted since 4.3.
While I appreciate some of the tier sets, I find most of them very boring as well as only a rare few look alright with the artifact weapons. Are these the actual mog sets that people are using for their chars or is this more of a Wowhead "Look like matches with your weapon?" thing.
My Warrior finished out WoD kitted out as the "unwedded" love-child of Blackhand (Blackrock Plate) & still has the same 'appearance' - don't see any reason to change, esp. as a Dwarf is too short to look like a Felguard (recurrent Legion Helm theme). My FDK still has the Saronite War Battleplate look while 'appearing to be' dual-wielding Hailstorm; my Rogue remains perfectly happy in Lightdrinker Armor.
This makes me happy to know that my mogs are somewhat unique if not completely unique.
This is great, thanks.
I wonder if there's a way to adjust this by artifact appearance? For example, a set that goes with the classic gold Ashbringer won't match the the green corrupted Ashbringer.
