When it comes to phat epic lootz, I have surely been blessed through WoW... not only in-game, but in life...Way back, in the original closed beta, I decided to go out on my own and create a guild with my own ideals... a place where people could just be themselves, have fun, and get away from the ZOMG1337haxorz attitudes. Through that guild, UberNegative on Tichondrius, I met my fiancee and started the foundation for what would turn out to be nearly half a decade of happy gaming. After a year with UN, I decided to "take a break from the game"... you know how that goes *wink*... and both of us "quit" WoW. See, he was from California and I lived in Texas and he had just recently moved to Texas to be with me. We successfully "quit" WoW for about 6 months, when he made some friends at his new job who were just getting to 60 and enjoying the endgame, as it was at the time. I bet you see where this is going! We rolled characters on their server (Spirestone) and started up the addiction again. After several months of searching for just the right guild, with just the right atmosphere and values, we finally decided we would just have to do it ourselves if we wanted to be happy again in WoW. So we formed Epitomé and set out to create a true "casual hardcore" raiding guild, where people could come and enjoy the endgame while still maintaining a mature and friendly environment - we move at a slower pace, but we are able to be inclusive and fair, and still successfully raid! Over the past 2 years, Epitomé has grown into a community of over 150 individual players (we keep having to cull our roster for all the alts that keep us at the cap!) and we've been blessed with some truly amazing friendships and camaraderie. The real blessing though, is my soon-to-be-husband... the man who truly completes my life. We're getting married in Mexico next May and can't wait! Until then, we'll keep truckin' along with the Epitomé community and enjoying all the great new content WotLK has to offer.A happy marriage and a wonderfully unique guild... now THOSE are epic lootz! =)
Back in the days when I was still questing in Stranglethorn Vale with my priest my only exposure to epic items was seeing them on other players and coveting them. I looked forward to the day when I could start stacking the shadow damage and really start melting faces. Well one night while tiptoeing around some elite ogres in Stranglethorn Vale (remember those?) I accidentally aggroed one. I was questing with two people at the time and we considered trying to run away from the elite but in the end we decided to fight it. We barely survived the ordeal but the ogre ended up dropping www.cuckhead.com/?item=1980 I felt lightheaded from the excitement and I begged my party members to let me roll need, vowing to equip the ring immediately. This encounter served two purposes. It provided me with my first epic item which helped in getting me hooked on the game and it also taught me to never run away from challenges, no matter how hard they may seem at first. :)Now as a near level 80 priest I still keep that ring in my bank to remember the good old days of WoW when there was still so much left to discover.
My most epic WoW battle would definately be our guild's first Illidan kill.We were stuck on him for about a month, had to deal with scrubs, people that couldn't pay attention, no show ups, you name it. We were so close to giving up and just waiting for patch 3.0.Then one day, we got so hyped up we went in there with our game faces. And at 5% our main tank dies. We freak out, it was all out DPS. Then, right then, he transforms into demon at 2%. We had about 10 people alive doing all hell DPS. And then he died. Screams on vent were awesome. This moment truly felt epic.
The other day i got the Northern Exposure achivment I was group with a friend and we were running through dragonblight and found the Onsalughter women i dont remember her name however some wicked hunter pants dropped. i got those and a bag full of 17 gold and 20 frostweave cloth and 5 crystalized fire

Season 1 Gladiator's Salvation: first epic ever...took forever to grind enough honor pre-70...
My most epic moment was using Finkle's Skinner to skin The Beast, pre-BC. I had gotten Finkle's Skinner from my first UBRS run (my friend had abandoned skinning because he'd never seen it drop, after dozens of runs!), and on my first attempt of actually skinning The Beast (2-3 runs after I got the knife, I had never won the roll for the privilege of the skin) I got the Pristine Hide of the Beast! Very cool... very, very, very very lucky. Totally epic!
Its gottta be my pet Oozeling. I farmed for him for a while (well over 24) and finally gave up. The one day I was traveling through the area to help a guildie with a quest, took one wack at an Oozeling, and my little walking debuff appeared. Meeza very happy.
The most epic thing ever was when I won the loot card for the Big Battle Bear from WoWHead.
I have been playing since Blizzard introduced WoW. It took me 6 months to level 1-60 on my Dwarf Hunter because it was on a PvP server. I remember EVERYONE and their mother, father, sister, brother AND grand parents looting an epic while farming. I always wanted to loot one so I could say "Hey! I can get instant gold now when I sell this Helm of Narv and not have to farm cats in Winterspring for awhile :D. They all laughed and wrote "Grats!" but the thing is... the Helm of Narv only sold for 60g and not 120g like I had hoped for. Well, it REALLY put a smile on my face and I actually /clapped in RL. I is a nub yes yes but It was EPIC! The End!
