The Skull of Gul'dan Because it was the best caster trinket in the game at the time and I tanked Illidan for our guild's first kill when it dropped. Still using it at 80 kek.
the most epic battle i had was the battle of trying to get a big black bear.. it was a furious battle that took days.. and we will see if this story ends well :X.
most epic drop for me was on my lock downing ahune the frost lord and what drops .. only the coolest looking caster staff ever .. the frostscythe of lord ahune .. i still carry it around just for the intimidation factor ... what an epic drop
My most epic drop... Wiping on Heroic Loken 7 times before finally dropping him and my sweet epic legs dropped. Made it all worth it ^_^
Been playing so long and have had so many great experiences, it's tough to choose. Way back in the day, in my first raiding guild, I was a prot warrior and loved it. With my work schedule, I couldn't raid nearly as much as I wanted to, so I was behind on gear and dkp. Had gotten very little. Got sick at work one evening shortly after I got there, so I headed home. Logged on to raid that night, excited just to raid. Got up to Garr, downed him, sorted out the loot. Silence. GM says over vent, hold up guys we're sorting out the last piece of loot. Groans over vent.."Not another one?" Two of our tanks already had Thunderfury at that point, and both were major guild efforts to help the guys get the mats to make theirs, so I suppose they weren't looking forward to getting the next one done. It was well known that the next was going to a rogue, so I had no expectations of getting it. And all of a sudden I get a tell "You want it?" My heart raced. I couldn't believe it. Hadn't even noticed that the rogue class lead was out that night. I asked if he was serious and he says, yeah if you want it, its yours. I accepted and he looted it to me, and a flood of congrats in raid chat and whispers. I was literally shaking. Took a while to settle down again. Months later, that guild disbanded. Sadly before I could get the other binding for Thunderfury. I ended up joining a guild whose GM I had ran a few 5 mans with previously when she was starting up her guild, and had been actively trying to recruit me as a tank for some time. By the time I was guildless, they had stormed through BWL in record time for the server, and I joined the night of their first attempts on Nefarion. Was a fun night, made some good attempts at him. The next Friday, working on Nef some more, and I was lucky to have a short day at work and was able to attend. On one of the last attempts of the night, our MT died at around 90%. Thinking quickly with equal part balls and fear, I picked him up, and tanked him all the way to about 25%. In nothing more than a mishmash of MC gear and good blues. I had been concerned about working well in BWL in my gear, but that showed them and me that I could be put on the front line without worry. Both experiences were epic for me, and both are my favorite moments in the game so far. Both gave me confidence in my abilities, and the recognition from my guild mates gave a real sense of pride.
About 3 years ago I solo'ed the rare mob "Wife <the horny>" and 9 months later got the most epic loot , my daughter.
My most epic loot? Winterspring Frostsaber...This was when the rep grind was excruciating and u get <100 rep per quest. It took about 2.5 months to get and when i bought it I immediately rode it around IF and spammed space bar :PI still do this today
