The opening of this website is the most epic thing that ever happened to me.The only thing that could possible top it, is winning the grand-prize in their epic contest!

i was sitting at my house with 15 of my friends (having LAN party ^^)we all decited to do zul'gurub for the raptor and tiger mount.BOTH MOUNTS DROPED!(i got the raptor :D^^)
My most epic loot drop was probably when i got my giant sewer rat. I was completely prepared to fish for hours to get it and on first cast there it was 8). again because my memory only works so far XD
I've only been playing the game for a year, so I don't have nearly as many awesome stories as some of the other players. Heck, I don't even have any epic level characters yet. I do have one good story though!I joined a random group for Wailing Caverns on my tauren druid, and the entire run was crumby. The group leader wasn't organized and didn't know where to go. The tank kept trying to hang out in back of the group and not actually tank- which was not good for my poor restoration spec'd druid, and the rogue would constantly wait until everyone else had rolled for items before rolling and he ALWAYS picked need regardless of being able to use it or not - and he'd been winning about nine out of ten when someone else rolled need as well.I'd been trying to find a group for days to run WC, so I just bit my tongue and rolled with it. I really wanted Living Root off of Verdan The Everliving. When we came around to him he fell pretty quickly, and everyone rushed to get their loot. The staff dropped, and I literally held my breath: I knew the rogue would roll need, and so I did as well. When the rolls came through he'd rolled a 87- but I rolled a 88.I was so excited I started dancing around in real life, and he left the group!
Cloudkeeper Legplates. It was right after I hadn't played for a while. I logged on one day and decided to do my Pally epic mount quest, and the legplates dropped off of a quest mob in EPL. So far that was my only world epic drop.
My BEST epic loot was the Headless horseman´s reins. I had been doing headless horseman 45 times. And on the fifth time of the day he dropped it. I rolled 79 on it and won! that´s what I call EPIC. And two days later I won the Deathchargers reins. After my 9th run I got it. And I have also won the swift brewfest ram and a week ago I got the reins of the white polar bear mount! Isn´t that epic! =D I EVEN GOT PICS OF IT IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE IT!=D
My best epic loot has to be Demise, off Heigan the Unclean in Nax (10-man).The funny thing about it is the story that goes with it.My guild had never done the Heigan fight before that day, so it took us about 2 hours of trying it to get the "Heigan dance" down.We had 2 very close attempts then got him down on the next try. I was the last person besides the tank and healer on the 2 close attempts. What makes the loot ironic is that on the attempt we finally downed Heigan, I died in the last phase 2 (the dance-phase) and then immediately after, we downed the the boss. So, I got Demise right after meeting my demise.
The Dangerous Fall!Flying through icecrown with my undead priest completing my final quest to ding 80 I was flanked by two ret paladins. I saw two yellow pvp shoulders so I knew I had to try my hardest to get out of this dirty mess. I feared them quickly and started dotting both. I began to run away from these paladins after they popped trinkets. I did not make it very far and I used dispersion for my final retreat. Once my dispersion was done my fear was up again and I feared and dotted both of them again. I was able to use my regular flyer just before one of the paladins reached me. They were both under 30% with dots on both at the time but I was only at 5% flying really (60%) slow away from them. No doubt they both had epic flyer and they both followed me in the air. One paladin used his instant to finish me off but once he was close I PWS and at the same EXACT time I PWD the other paladin while falling to the ground. I crit 4000 PWD somehow and the paladin's corpse fell off his mount and hit the ground. At the exact same time the first paladin that jumped off his mount to finish me off fell to the ground and died without bubbling. Right before I hit the ground I used levitate and typed /rofl to each paladin's dead corpse. After returning to base I handed in my quest and dinged 80. It was an experience of a life time and I wish I had frags loaded for the massacre. Even though I did not receive any epic loot the sensation was definitely epic. Hope you guys enjoyed my rampage :)ArthasSuperbud lvl 80 undead priest
The most epic loot drop i have ever gotten was the hurricane and it dropped for me while i was questing in the hinterlands, i was killing trolls at the time, i ended up giving it to my friend who needed a better a better bow.
The most epic drop or loot day that I will always remember happened back in pre-burning crusade days, even before Nax when Nefarion was the dragon to kill. My guild was on our 15th attempt of Nefarion having worked months on killing all the other bosses before him. On that day i was one of three Paladins online and of course i was next in line DKP wise if anything should drop. Finally on our 4th attempt for that night we finally dropped Nef. When the raid leader linked the gear everyone yelled in chat mostly "all pally gear, pfft!" or "I'm going to bed.." etc so most of everyone except the Paladins and leaders left.I could not believe it, Judgement Armor dropped. I was soooo happy and excited our first kill and i got my armor. The thing is after i got my armor the other 2 Paladins suddenly DCed and texted they could get back in game for some reason. So there it was.... A Lokamir with no one else to grab it but me. 2 of the best Paladin items in the game in one night. I yelled and screamed so loud i woke up my wife and kids. Every time i talk about WoW i tell everyone this story.
