Just yesterday I got my Bronze Drake from heroic Strat timed run! Epicly epic! I really need that bear card XD!
The Tiger, hands down. At level 60, I raided ZG every 3 days for a year. Our guild had a DKP bid system, and naturally, mine was highest (even after spending 605 on the Raptor). Finally, it dropped. I was leading the raid, but I had my girlfriend take bids so other people wouldn't feel bad about bidding against me. It didn't matter that I paid 1205 DKP for it. It's still my favorite mount to this day, and I have a lot of awesome mounts.
The most Epic loot was when i get my Black War Bear from the "For the Horde!" achievement. Last stop was stormwind and we went by the newest and stealthiest way in....by the boats to there docks. When we got to the docks few were there as the raid leader shouted "CHARGE!" we rushed towards stormwind keep. We had gotten to the keep and our tank rushing the king of stormwind as all of us attacked him straight after. Slowly alliance players swarmed in no one wanted to guard. I decided that if i want this bear I'm going have to guard the people who are helping me get it. As i rushed out of the pile to attack the mob of alliance slowly two others decided to join me. It was the best killing spree i ever had after one alliance was dead another came up and over and over heals coming from everywhere i felt Unstoppable!.At the final moments of his death alliance had gotten closer but not fast enough to save him. When the king was dead I yelled "VICTORY IS OURS, FOR THE HORDE". Everyone spread out from the group slaughtering any alliance in sight. We slowly made our way back to the boats and back to Orgrimmar to celebrate our victory and the arrival of our Black War Bears from the achievment only the ones with true honor to there faction have this.
My most epic loot would have to be the first time i went into kara with my guild. I went in there with about 800+ heals in like full greens/blues. ( Yes i was carried). But by the end of the full clear i had about 1500+ heals and had a full epic healing set prtty much. Best day for loot ever!
My most epic drop would be OLD CRAFTY from Achievement. I listened to numerous players moaning and groaning about getting into ORG as an Alliance player and fishing - what with getting gaked and all.I get into the city, sit down to fish and get bum rushed by about 20 horde. I have time to catch one fish and............ it was OLD CRAFTY - OMFG - what luck! Then I died of course, but you can't get any more epic than that!
I've sadly never had an epic drop yet although the elation I felt when I raised enough gold to purchase my first land mount was awesome! :-) I look forward to my next!
I remember for the longest time I thought the T6 priest shoulders were pretty much the coolest looking thing I'd ever seen. I REALLY didn't ever see myself getting into Black Temple, nor would I ever see an arena rating high enough to where vengeful shoulders, so I had pretty much given up any hope of seeing them. Then one day a friend of mine ninja-invited me to a BT PuG where 2 pairs of T6 shoulders dropped. I nearly fainted when I won that roll. I'm never trashing these things D:
I know it's not a big deal, but my Blessed Trousers of Undead Cleansing was the thing I was most happy with. had to spend a week or something just to get this last piece of the set... and it finally dropped. :)
The most epic loot drop I had gotten was during the final boss of Heroic Mana-Tombs. I'm enhancement, and at this particular time I, for some reason I can't quite remember, had picked up the Guardian Totems talent. I was mostly still excited I had gotten a group for a heroic, what with the "boohoo we need 3 CC for heroics" crap going on through most of BC. I was rocking a lot of Season 1; it had just become purchasable with honor, and much of it was actually pretty good outside of PvP at the time (+strength mail? Yes, please).Anyway, the fight against Shaffar was going okay...except the other 2 DPS weren't attacking the beacons nearly quick enough. Eventually, our DPS was overrun by the mages spawned by the beacons. I spent a great deal of time finishing them all off when suddenly the tank died. How? I don't quite know, but it looked quite bleak since Shaffar still had about 30% health and the healer was low on mana.At this point, I popped Shamanistic Rage, a trinket, and the troll Berserk, and began smashing face on the boss, but I made sure to drop Grounding Totem every time it was up (more often, thanks to the talent :D) and Earth Shock as much as possible. I would often get lucky, with several spells getting cast simultaneously and thus avoiding several thousand points of damage to help out the healer (who fought for dear life keeping us both alive). I chugged a mana potion, would stop to heal if I was Frost Nova'd, and did as much damage as I could when I got in range. It was one of the most intense fights I've ever conquered. The epic loot? A Badge of Justice and a blue mail belt for Resto. I'm a master of collecting offset gear.
