I got the staff of infinite mysteries
I'd actually have to say the other day, when I hit 78, and got the new rank of battle shout thats like, 650 AP, that was pretty epic. Bloodthirst just goes RAWRBLAM now.
The most epic loot I ever received was Headmaster's Charge. I was a level 54 priest being awesome and healing Scholomance without a single death. We slew Darkmaster Gandling and lo: he dropped both this epic staff and my Devout Crown. I got the sweet collar by default, but I had to roll against a 60 mage guildie for the staff. Needless to say, I won the staff, and it remains to this day in my bank, next to my 8/8 Devout and Benediction/Anathema.
Epic Mount that my avatar is based off. Lots and lots of hard work but its a very good looking mount! (I love riding it in Northrend!)
I had journeyed out early to camp the spawn location of my most anticipated epic loot drop. Only to find that several like minded aventurers had already beaten me to the spawn point. Having been civil minded adventurers we patiently waited for the appropriate spawn time. For each of us taking a turn to aquire our chance at a epic loot drop. Some were happy with lesser loot drops, however I was seeking the epic drop. When my turn was near I was drooling with anticipation, but alas I had to settle on a meger loot offering. I figured then I'd would retire to my dwelling and perhaps take another chance of obtaining epic at another spawn location the next morning. As I layed there in anticipation of sucess for the next day, the nagging irritation of the previous like minded adventurers started to gnaw at me. One advenuturer had been camping the spawn point for hours. I couldn't suffer the same fate again. So I struck out on my adventure once more to aquire my chance at limited epic loot. I arrived at the anticipated spawn point of my epic loot drop many hours in advance of the scheduled spawn time. I was the only one in the area, so I patiently waited. Several hours passed by the time some passing adventures had taken notice of me but they were uncaring of prize I sought. Several knew of the spawn time but they went about their questing. After many hours at the camp site and still quite a few more hours away of the spawn time another advenuturer showed up. I eyed him as he circled the spawn point. I was thinking was he a civil minded player such as myself or a ninja tapping spawn stealer. Then more adventurers showed up, and I began to worry even more as the anticipated spawn time neared. Several adventurers were even trading comments to each other in general chat. Though I couldn't understand the Alliance adventurers. As the spawn time approached all the adventurers that had gathered were eager for a try at epic loot. It appeared that I was once again gathered with civil minded players. The spawn time had passed and the minutes were ticking when finally the portal to the instance was made available for entry. With the fullfilling achievement of being the first adventurer of the day to take a crack at epic loot I walked thru the portal. I was beaming from ear to ear as a NPC of Best Buy approached me with my epic loot copy of Wrath of the Lich King Collectors Edition. This completed a Trifecta of Collectors Editions for me. All pre-orders had sold out in my area. And I had learned of the Midnight release late, which only had 5 copies available anyhow. So I waited for the normal operating time of another location for a win on Epic! I didn't manage to get online as fast as those that picked up a copy at midnight releases even though I had picked up a plain copy of the game then. I didn't even get online until late that evening cause of having to patch Wow from a new install on the new computer I had purchased the evening prior to release. During patching I slept at times and admired my phat loot from my epic edition. And upon entering WotLK I was Wow'd once more.
My Cloak of Having a Skull on it. Because... Come on... It has a skull on it!
This is my most epic battle. It started back in the time where Mana tombs was a pretty cool instance so ya… I was with my group and we managed to go at the first boss, you know the giant voidwalker. So ya basically we start the fight and down 40% the group starts to wipe, I was the last one alive alone with my little 63 gnome warlock so I said ‘’hey why not try to down him 40% alone…’’ So then it started. I was running in circle as fast as my little gnome’s feets where able to run popping all the curses DOTS afflictions call them whatever you want to call them but I was popping em. And finally 6min and 34sec after the 40% the giant voidwalker from hell (not really from hell…) was finally dead and I was exhausted so this kids, its my most epic fight!
