Idiots...I'll better to farm some items for legendary in thorgast, instead of spending 100500 of gold to by base...And that the reason why instead of playing on my 6 alts Shadowlans is first addon when I play only one character...
Well, fine about the 'already USED base item' (and surely the Torghast currencies were needed back), but what about at let us do anything else with the tons of low ilvl base items we create just to unlock higher ranks, that no one will buy, and you 'waste' so much gold to make? Can't disenchant, can't sell, can't 'scrap', just 'delete'? At least reduce the amount of craft for each rank, I think 15 is way too much, even after this expansion is over.
Yeah, I agree with some comments. Investing hundreds of thousands of gold in an alt is just so bad. This is the worst expansion for alts ever.
the crappiest craft system : all the lowest rank you have to craft are worthlesswho care about R2,R3, then R5? no market for that, which mean ROI to reach R6 is sooo random (and definitly a loss if for his own self sustain : whatever it is time to farm, or gold to pay mat)using a lowrank ASAP is not a gamechange, most can live without for a few weeks (only the 0,01% racing for 1st kill are concerned)this 9.1 still didn't help (you can't even use upgrade on already crafted stuff that are sitting in bank....) what a mess.and now, 9.1.5 still doesn't really adress the whole problem...on my server, several hightend crafters have left the game (or have stop bother post in AH). less competition, higher price at best (or missing slot...). Pure extrem-capitalism garbage system. (1% invested in the leg system and got all the cake, often with a backup from their guild. While most have to pay full price their leg in AH, meaning lot of time to farm or pay token)i've a brutosaur, several millions at my disposal. no way i waste my gold around it. And if next extension is hamster-designed the same way. i guess it will be time to stop that game.
Kinda irrelevant now.Everyone says its "fair".The main issue was spending all that gold on the armor, the second issue was the Soul currency. Now that we can farm infinite Soul currency, the scrapping doesent matter anymore. So the main issue still remains, the butload of gold and Korthite, and mats spent on the legendary. This whole system is almost worthless. Its classic Blizzard, take something out, put something in. An usually when they put it in, its a weak version to say they did something, and players sees that, but doesent realise that we got nothing.ex. Class tier sets, mage tower, "pruning abilities", pvp gear.. the list goes on.You people need to demand more, and stop accepting irrelevant changes.
I hear a lot of people complaining about the cost of the base items well that is what happens when there is lower supply and demand. You have a less competitive market place with with a small pool of suppliers who can set there price and hold it without competition.Yes it sucks that server divides are a thing in the first place when blizzard largely has the technology to build a cross server AH and cross server guild participation but instead they choose to take the low effort route of merging servers which dose little to solve the problems. I am on Illidan the highest pop server in the US and on average most 262 legos are around 30 to 40k and you can make that in a week doing dallies and weekly's.
having upgrade orb doing a +1 (instead of+2), boe and can be used on already crafted lego.would have solve a lot of trouble my 2cents
I cant believe theres people that think every wow token put on the ah is actually bought by another player
Honestly, I don't get people complaining about base item cost at this point of the expansion. I mean, there are several ways to get your desired item. The most obvious is the auction house. If the prices are too high (which they truly aren't nowadays), well, you can always craft them yourselves. You either farm the mats or get them from the auction house. Of course, an enchanter/tailor has it a bit easier than a leatherworker/skinner or a blacksmith/miner (getting enchanted silk is easier). But that's about the only unfairness in all of this imho. If my tailor took all the mats from the auction house (not a cheap server, about 2g per cloth, 50 per silk, 5 per dust, 110 per Korthite), he would pay about 300k for skilling out his desired base item. (given that he buys orboreal shards at an exalted faction vendor and not for the full 125g in Oribos)If he would have farmed everything possible by himself, the cost would be down to buying 950 Orboreal shards and 75 Penumbra thread for about 102k (orboreal shards being the expensive factor. But in both cases he would have made 250k (mat worth) of resellable items, which, when sold, could back his next legendary.Of course, complaining will always be easier than actually playing the game in ways yours truly may not have been thought of before...
