Why would someone even think of scrapping it than? Its just too expensive to throw away
We still need a scrapper for the 60+ base items that nobody want to buy anymore that blizzard forced us to make. Making them scrapable to get some of the material back would be much preferred than constantly putting them on the AH cause nobody is buying them anymore.
Making one of the base items isn't that expensive. But having to store 60 of them because I want to level up a different leggo is ridiculous cause people aren't buying them anymore. Hence getting back some of the material for scrapping them.
whats the point then if soul ash/cinder is getting uncapped for week? makes no sence to me at all
What could Blizzard do about that? The price is set by the playerbase. There's nothing stopping anyone from posting the base items for 1 copper.
I feel like this was a problem when they were tuning and messing up what legos we used. My resto druid with 4 legos could have really used this 6 months ago. But honestly, idgaf anymore because the resources aren't scarce and everything's already made. So who even needs this now?
No problem, it keep the proffesions kind of viable
You realize you didn’t disprove their point, right? Saying Yeah, it totally doesn’t is like a 5 year old saying no over and over. The WoW token does not “make” gold. Players have to buy it with gold they have. You could argue that the player buying the token, may have bought gold from a 3rd party bot, but the person selling the token could have done the same thing if the token didn’t exist. I have a couple million gold. I didn’t even play WoD, Legion, and part of BFA. I don’t farm or buy gold. I don’t mess with crafting. I have one alchemist that makes stuff for me to use. I sell stuff I find with no addons and don’t even look at what they are selling for. Thinking everyone that needs 50k gold for an item buys a token is just wrong.
They should have something for scraping or getting some amount of gold for extra legendary shells, you can't sell them all on the AH and you have to make a ton to level the garbage legendaries up to begin with.
I'd rather it be the opposite. Lose the ash/cinders but you get the base item back. Ash/cinders are infinitely farmable so it's not like they'll be in short supply.
