In ages past, Odyn led the titan-forged armies against the Black Empire of the Old Gods. But for millennia he has been confined to the Halls of Valor by the curse of his bitter nemesis, Helya. Odyn seeks mortal champions to vanquish the ruler of Helheim and secure his freedom.
Helya's vicious three-headed hound stands guard at the gates of Helheim. Bred to require neither comfort nor sleep, Guarm remains ever-watchful for any invaders who come to challenge the reign of his cruel mistress.
Though she once served as Odyn's right hand, the vengeful Helya will stop at nothing to ensure her ancient curse binds the titan keeper to the Halls of Valor. No longer satisfied with ruling her shadowy realm, Helya now commands her vast kvaldir army to plague the lands of the living.
In this difficulty, Fetid Rot spreads every period.
I don't know why we have to prove our "worth" again by defeating Odyn, Hymdall and Hyrja. You're very demanding good sire Odyn!
I hope the backstory from the Chronicle books makes it in game. Odyn is actually a jerk who deserved what happened to him.

Still no news about Odyn finally getting out of the halls of valor and stop being "bored" sitting in there..There's hope that after you defeat helya he can finally leave the halls of valor.
Transformers transmog (plate), kinda.
WTF is wrong with blizzard, putting mastery on almost every single leather piece, i counted 1 that did not have it
Trial of Valor ...vrykul raid...Odyn's favour...and still no Storm Drake mount for non gladiators, such a missed opportunity.
I understand that when creating a new mythos one need not be bound by the conventions of it's progenitors. That said the Norse myths are a far richer vein to mine than the Blizzard loremasters seem capable of understanding.Loki (Loken) was Odin's blood and possibly actual brother in Norse myth. He is, however, a trickster like Prometheus in Greek myth, Raven and Coyote in Native American myth, Anansi, in African myth and others like Br'er Rabbit in the African-American myths familiarized by Joel Chandler Harris. He has avatars all over the world.Hel (Helya), the Miðgardsörm and the ravening wolf, Fenrir (Fenris), are Loki's children as is Odin's 8-legged horse Sleipnir. That comes about because the mason the Norse gods (Aesir) hire to build the walls of their home, Asgard, demands the goddess Freya to wife and the sun and the moon as well. The mason claims that need needs 18 months to build the walls but the Aesir will only agree to the 6 months from the first day of Winter to dawn on the first day of summer. Unfortunately they find that the mason has tricked the gods. He's a rock giant assisted by his magical horse, Svadilfari. When this giant is in danger of completing the wall in the allotted time, Odin turns to Loki for help. Loki, a shapeshifter, transforms himself into a particularly comely mare and entices Svadilfari away from the work of wall building. The giant loses his bet, Freya, the sun, the moon and, when he erupts in a rage, his life while Loki disappears for many months. When Loki returns he's leading Sleipnir as a gift for Odin but says nothing of the other 3 monstrous children to whom he';s given birth. Loki's other children, a huge wolf, and a world-circling snake exist in the upperworlds while his daughter, Hel, comes to rule over the underworld of the dead. Hel's body and face are divided. One side is a pale as death and the other is as black as the grave. The entrance to her realm is guarded by a wolf, Garm (Guarm), who may be one aspect or avatar of her brother, Fenrir. Garm borrows his aspect and three heads from his Greek cousin, Cerberus.I congratulate the Blizzard writers for keeping Guarm. My main toon, the Undead mage Garmheim, borrows his name. But the artists might have wanted to read some Norse mythology to keep Hel divided in color. Would it not be interesting to fight her when different aspects of her black or her pale sides were active? Rather than having Helya as a former Odyn lieutenant, why not introduce the ultimate Norse myth of Baldur into the story line? That myth would fit nicely with the theology of "The Light" in WoW and greatly enrich motivations all around. Isn't Helya, as the vengeful daughter of Loken, a richer store of motivations than we get in the current story line? And what about the Miðgardsörm as the beast of the encircling seas, sister to Helya, as a raid boss who'd make Megara look like minnow bait? The point here is that there are some very rich mythological veins to be mined with complexities of motivation for alliances and betrayals infinitely more interesting than the power-mongering, jealousy, madness and vengeance we usually get. The Trial of Valor sounds like fun. Fun as it may be it could be a lot more.
"But for millennia he has been confined to the Halls of Valor by the curse of his bitter nemesis,"Then how did he come to Stormheim to set us on the path as Havi?
mastery haste on like 95% of things in here.
Finally a Frost relic with Rip damage!
I hole they put something effects in the trinkets. Up to now they're just big stats increase. Ps:Hodyn may have wronged tuning Helya in to a slave, but about the dragon aspects he was !@#$ING RIGHT. Three of them already gone insane and almost destroyed the world. And of the other two Alexstraza is the only one that made something.
