Tanaan jungle is supposed to be this desolate scary place..why is it than that i basically solo kill everything there in large packs on my healer?
Don't want professions to follow the same formula? That's rich, proffs are exactly the same in wod, except for JC. Which they first gut, then make the newest gems extremely expensive.
So much QQ, so little thanks. I don't do videos very often at all, so I only read the transcript of the interview, and I got most of what I wanted to know answered. I'm grateful that Wowhead has the clout to be able to talk to people like Hozzikostas and bring more information to us. I started a "gold nerf thread" in the main forums last Tuesday to combat the supposed "decimation of gold-making" with the new patch, and the results have been pretty interesting to me. I use an addon called GarrisonCommander (Curse.com link) and another called Accountant to make things faster and then track all of my gold-making, and I've actually made the same amount of gold from garrison missions this week as I made the week before the patch. I normally clear 20k-25k per week from 6 garrisons, and I'm already between 17k-18k since Tuesday. As far as what Fugazi was saying above:
Another patch - Another Q&A...Thanks to Perculia and Panser and to Ion/Blizz for the Interview....But...I feel Q&A has shifted away from a list of concerns to a solid list of player grievances this expansion, and while the questions raised are good the answers are more and more "Insert standard Blizzard reply". Whilst I do appreciate that there may be a need to keep the interview light hearted so as not to offend or upset Blizzard,I really do feel that the ladies interviewing should be a little more assertive and that Blizzard should expect no less. You are one of the few voices of the community able to communicate with Blizzard and its easy to see on wowhead and other fan sites that there is a large portion of the community that feel disappointed with aspects of this expansion.I do understand that if you were to press Ion more then the chances of further interviews may not be as likely but it would be nice to see a Q&A that actually presses one or two of the questions further rather than immediately signing off after what are sometimes quite bland answers and it really does make me cringe to see a genuine question answered blandly and then have one or both of the ladies help Ion to finish his reply or giggle it away.I wouldnt expect a Paxman-esque grilling but it would be nice to see an on the spur of the moment follow-up question that forces Ion to think and have to show more concern. In short Blizzard have repeatedly acknowledged the player-base has grown-up and that the game itself has matured surely its time that Interviews and Q&A sessions do the same?
"In all honesty, it came down to time and production. I know that's not a satisfying answer. In T17 we had more time to do differences - patches were a little more time constrained so we didn't have enough time to do different sets. We didn't want to delay the patch to have diversity in the armor models. We appreciate that people want gear that looks different from people around them. We had to draw the lines here.:"How is the follow up question to this not:"How is making 11 additional armor sets in a 7 months content drought somehow unachievable after you've been doing so for +6 years (at a much quicker pace than we've seen this time around)?"If no one with the power to actually sit down with the developers asks real questions, then they'll keep getting away with lies, generic nondescript answers, and the same trite excuses. I'm tired of them just using "we didn't have time" for all their short comings this expansion. They've managed to do many of the content/things that've been cut from WoD in all the other expansions, with half the people they supposedly have now. This lack of content (or quality of content at this point) and the incredibly slow pace its been fed to us is the elephant in the room. This is why the forums have been burning down for months. Yet not a single face-to-face interview has touched the issue with a 10 foot stick.(Sidenote: He says "patches were a little more time constrained". What patches? This is the first actual content patch since launch (which he personally admitted in his previous interview).
Right Darkmoon race is a !@#$ !If we wanna play supermario we can buy a NintendoDelete this orrible race or something other in new expansion
Sad interview, sad questions, sad answers. Please do better next time.
this site is becoming just like blizz, tou have ur tongues so far up blizz's ass it's becoming ridiculous...never have i seen a bad word about the game, always the same "we're sooooo excited about...."if you can't be honest & ask what you SHOULD ask than just don't....
Weeks until I can fly? I'll probably be done with Tannan by then! (4 days until Apexis mount, 3 weeks give or take until full 695, already done the rest, including flying achievement).
Well, I like the questions about Gold mission nerf, and about Salvage Yard nerf.We actually got some concrete actionable information on the Gold mission Nerf, too.Hmm, it does require clarification though:Q: Gold missions - how do they work after 6.2 changes?A: Lots of inner workings under the hood about this system and we don't necessarily want to have players trying to game that system. It's not that more characters means less gold or the order in which you do it - the system doesn't work that way. They just appear less frequently for the remainder of the given week if you've already done them on your account. Wanted to reduce the pressure of maintaining many garrisons and reduce the gold being put into the world by garrisons. I've seen conspiracy theories about how this is to fuel token prices but really it's just about inflation - double the gold in the world means things will cost more. Curbing inflation is in the interest of players who have earned gold in the past. We don't want to turn rich players into no longer rich players. More and more gold from the Garrison systems threatened to destabilize the economy as a whole. We wanted non-garrison gold making to still be viable. We know people won't be thrilled but we want people to see the big picture.Doesn't this mean that the more missions I run, the more chance I have to get them. So, they only appear every (let's say) 100 missions, instead of 50 as they did before. Doesn't that mean that I still should do all my alt missions, to get that many under my belt for the week? This seems to go against the stated intent of the change.
Based on how things have gone it appears I made the right choice in giving up on WoW and moving on to another game.
