And the other item which sends 250 per item, which literally says you get it from Venari in the text for the item?
so make choreghast into more of a chore?
It's actualy pretty helpful for my alts that suck at Torghast. I can clear layers 1-5 in like 20 minutes on my shaman. Doing it on my DK or rogue or most any slow melee takes at least twice as long. I'll certainly be using this to get all my Legos on my alts. I ran it once on my Mage and decided maybe I didn't need my Lego after all. Some classes just blow through Torghast like a catagory 5 hurricane, others struggle and take forever.
Hahahaha, hate to be that guy, but Blizz really does have a knack for having good ideas and executing them poorly.
I can't even fathom how much the dev are out of touch with players' mind.
This is better than nothing, and if you have multiple characters you don't need ash on you can get even more per week for an alt... I just don't understand why they can't implement a simple catch-up mechanic... if you're behind on soul ash, you can keep running Torghast (and receive soul ash) until you're caught up. Straight-forward. Simple. Still have to work exactly as hard as everyone else did for it. No more unnecessary gating.
Time gating ftw! -_-
WACK
I'm reasonably certain this will not stay this way. Remember people, this is the PTR, PTR be weird sometimes.
I don't see this sticking around as it currently is. I suspect they were testing the waters to see peoples' reactions, or didn't have a vendor ready for it.
Losing 200 is fine since you get plenty from running on that alt anyway. So, you get 1300 plus whatever the amount you get from your weekly two runs (I haven't run Torghast in a while, I forgot the number). A minor, insignificant inconvenience when you're going to be running this weekly anyway, but ultimately a massive gain.Edit: As someone with three level 60 characters, one being fresh 60, this is a very fast way to get my first legendary at rank 4 in no time. Assuming there's no account lockout for buying them, that's 2600 soul ash I can send to my alt. Then, if I bother making another 60, that's 3900 soul ash. This isn't counting the completion bonus for doing the weekly runs of course, so by the time you have five characters, you WILL have a rank 4 legendary very quickly. The downside is that you still need to run Torghast multiple times, but that's a minor inconvenience at best.
Nice Choregast scam you have here Blizzard. I'll stay away from it.
loving this hostile design philosophy for the entire game /s
Imagine if to send War Supplies to an alt in BfA you had to do like half an Island Expedition or War Front for the vendor to appear and you could only buy one at a time, this is literally one of the stupidest game decisions I've seen.
I dunno Blizzard. Looks like you could just have a Broker NPC in Torghast before you enter one of its wings, or around the Runecarver, or maybe even Ven'ari, sell these packages in unlimited supply (provided you have the Soul Ash to afford it)Seems like Shadowlands is just the expansion of creating unnecessarily problems and restrictions only to later fix them or partially bandaid fix them.
Yeah there's no point for this to be a restriction. Just put it on Ve'nari or something. Let me buy as many as I want. That's silly to only be able to buy one, then just restart to buy a second.
