I can see this having some great potential. It is the same as twisting nether but draws cards instead. This will probably see more game play than Twisting Nether. With the ability to draw cards can benefit greatly near end game but run the risk of fatigue.I would use this in reno lock to help with drawing reno
Like locks need more boardclears...
Why do Warlocks even need this card ? Not like poeple played Twisting Nether other than in Dreadsteed decks. Nobody plays Twisting Nether because it is too expensive, and the only decks that can afford to run DOOM! will be control decks which don't even need/want this insane card draw card potential. Most of the time what will happen will be that you over draw and mill yourself because you can't play any of the cards you drew since this thing costs 10 mana and can theoretically draw up to 14 cards. While drawing 14 cards will never happen drawing 7 cards from clearing the opponent's board is a somewhat likely scenario and will possibly set you back further in the game than help you come back into it since you will be much closer to fatigue on top of your natural card draw. All in all, a pretty mediocre card that seems in most cases just a worse version of Twisting Nether.
I would run it in my Reno Warlock deck. Gotta replace all the good GvG and Naxx cards with something.
Unplayable. As if Warlock, of all classes, needed either card draw or board clear potential. Let alone at such a ridiculous price.
Shouldn't that be DOOOOOOOOOM!
that will be Millhouse Manastorm spell not Yog Saron XD
If DOOM is played with Summoning Stone, do you get a surviving 10-cost minion?
Im sorry to say that, even if now its only 3-4 cards, counting validated doomsayer, the corrupted thing is getting tiresome, feels like they lost the ability to create brand new cards. Not saying this because of the already revealed, but for what seems to be coming. next os going to be a corrupted war golem? corrupted lord of the arena? and, in two years, when those become wild cards, there are going to be "sanctified" reprints or what? theres tons of lore, the xpac theme got loads of possibilities and experience as a successful company to do such a thing.
great artwork. but that card won't be used in my decks that i can see so far.....?
I thought the whole set will be revealed today. I don't like these gimmicky releases.
Why an aggro oriented hero is receiving more control cards than a priest and warrior?
