I'd rather never see Arthas on silver screen than have it be anything less than cinematic masterpiece
and get an better customer support in the EU waiting 3 weeks for an gm its unbelieable
Warcraft while it was great in a movie, it was confusing for people who never knew anything of Warcraft to truly understand what was going on. It needs to be a show and each major plot lines just be arcs. You wont be limited to movies to cram so much lore into a small window.
I feel like that if they want to make movies, they'd be better off with streaming services and making multiple "smaller" movies that focus on a given character. I mean Azeroth is a big diverse setting where you could probably capture several different kind of genres in it with a fantasy edge; trying to squeeze all of that into a few big movies you put into theaters just wouldn't really work that well.
Weird to see him mention the aesthetics and what not of Warcraft, when Dragonflight went in the complete opposite direction of what made Warcraft... Warcraft for so long. Softer art styles, forcing the war out of hyped conflicts (Forsaken vs Worgen), way too much neutrality and friendship all over the place, and only focusing on making things "better" rather than the wars themselves and all aspects of it.This whole expansion feels off-brand, and at best, like a summer beach filler episode with giant lizards. What's "hitting the bar" right now? Really hoping TWW doesn't feel as generic.
I would pay serious money for a AAA WoW based RPG
1 - please remove all versions of Classic realms and revert it back to Vanilla Classic, before all the changes to make it easier.2 - or, add Vanilla content back into retailThere is no need to continue wasting time and money on classic realms, They are not real WOW. That is only retail. Classics are nothing like they were when they were live. If players who have been playing since launch and who experienced vanilla content when live, still cannot access vanilla content on characters that adventured in vanilla, then no one should be able to. While many enjoy starting over and repeating the same things on alts, many of us also want to play the characters we spent years of time on. And since we cant access vanilla, it becomes worthless.I always thought veteran players were catered to more than new players or those that abuse the game by rush rush rushing?Every time I hear something about classic is get really pissed. All the expansions are part of retail. Retail is only missing vanilla content. Having brand new realms for old xpacs, and then changing them to make them 100x easier and then even adding new content and systems, its enough already.Does Blizzard want to have 12 different classic realms going on at the same time as retail? Retail is the FLAGSHIP TITLE. That should get more time and money than any other game. Classics should be a museum. That is it. Any changes defeat its purpose. And now all have been tweaked into oblivion so there is no true classic anymore :/When you listen to the loudest that represent a minority of players, instead of listening to veterans and players that represent the whole community - we get things like this. I love WOW soooooo freaking much. Real WOW. Not classic versions that have nothing to do with real WOW. So the sooner they are removed the better the playerbase will be.Also, if players don't want to play retail then LET THEM LEAVE! The community needs it. So many just abuse the game and take advantage and its getting worse.
I'm an IT product manager. This interview screams of not having a clear product vision.
I'm still waiting for Warcraft 4 and Remakes of the first warcraft games.
