Too little, too late. They should have by all accounts updated Brewfest this year as 2 years have passed since they added anything and that traditionally was the amount of time before they added a new item. Same for the summer festival which we just passed by 3 months ago and same for Hollow's End which is coming up and is one of my favorite holidays. Also, really? These toys are only usable during their respective holidays, most (all?) of them are just copies of existing effects off items (armor) people bought from previous years plunked into toys which offer no additional utility because of their holiday time frame lock. We can't even clear out our banks from storing these seasonal items if we want to maintain the ability to wear or use their effects as a result of these toys so they are purely filler to inflate the toy box numbers and appear to unobservant players that they're actually adding content to holidays when they're really not.
"Kneel down and allow others to cook over you." What? How is this allowed if they're removing everything else?
It'd be nice to see some actual effort put into updating these holidays. For one, you should never have to time travel to do any holiday content.
SQUIRREL! They're trying to butter us up with extreme light soy "butter", look over here and forget about the regressive puritanical changes we're making over there. They don't just need to add new items, but more actual things to do during the world holidays.
A nice effort, but they need to add some more mounts and pets too. Stop with those Chinese New Year mounts going on the store, give them to Lunar Festival/maybe Brewfest instead. Fire (elemental) wolf for Midsummer. PIlgrim transmog for the Bounty.
I am dreaming to get one day the lil' water bucket from Headless horseman event as a toy !
Now make them Bind on use... then we are talking ;-)
Still waiting for a chocolate bunny mount...
The basket of speed and helm of hot-cooking are already there. Insoles sound amusing - I believe I have a toy that does this, somehow related to the chili that does.We need more seasonal snacks with stat buffs, so casuals can enjoy raid level power during a holiday.
Glad to see old content getting new life breathed into it.
Ugh, if they're going to add more things, I wish they'd make collecting the currency for the holiday stuff less @#$%ty. I don't want to fly zone to zone for tokens.
My favorite part about Noblegarden is the sense of brotherhood and sharing amongst gamers; this event fosters well-being and happiness and does not in any part make me loath everything about it and any player near me....Seriously. This events competition is absolutely atrocious.
I only did the holiday events for the ridiculous amount of alt xp but they destroyed that. So meh.
So…we’re losing players by the droves to New World, we’re in a content drought, we’ve been grinding M+ for the 1,000th time in four months (the proverbial broken leg, if you will), and you think new virtual toys for doing seasonal events (the proverbial band-aid) will help fix so many people’s favorite video game? Or maybe it’s all of the content you created over a decade ago that you’re generous enough to repackage for us? Come on guys…I can’t even defend what’s happening anymore…Uy vey Blizzard…
Keep suing them. It's clearly working.
