Idk, these all seem like things you cannot do on a starter account
Wasn't the level cap on starter accounts always 20? The cap didn't get squished, too? Now you can level through 1/3 of the game?
You can actually go to other zones. They just won't scale up to 50 like they would with Chromie Time. I was able to get a Garrison up and running on my (Now) level 15 trial.
Can't exactly say I'm suprised.
So starter account can do trade through guild bank?
What about veteran accounts? Can they choose starting zone and access Chromie time if they fulfill the requirements?
I'm surprised they kept the lvl20 cap with the squish but at the same time I always wanted blizz to extend it at least to lvl40 or 60 so I guess it's fair now. Also, being limited to 1000 gold is very good imo for a starter account, 10 gold felt sooooo little haha
Previously, a starter account could bank up to 10 levels of xp which would be converted to actual character levels if the account went fully active. With the level squish, any banked xp appears to have been lost.
8 year with my free to play gang! where you at subscrubers?Magtheridon eu represents!
Are starter editions able to join guilds now? I dont see that mentioned.
Wait, if I don't have the pre-ordered Shadowlands but I do have the BFA, just didn't sub yet, won't I be able to do stuff at max lvl? (50)
Since old expansions are practically given for free when you purchase the latest content, I think it would make more sense to restrict access to the newer expansion only. I do agree with gold limitations (especially considering you have to repair gear and won't be able to buy stuff on the AH or mail to other chars), not being able to use /chat channels and the action house system. And perhaps allowing battle pet with low level pets but not granted progress to achievements. Since the game offers these contents when you subscribe, it makes sense allowing limited access to most of the experiences, so newcomers can get a better flavor and decide if buying is worth it.
You can use them from the battle net app if they are already your friends, but if you are ingame you can rightclick on people and send and bnet invite that could contain spam. I guess that's why it's being restricted
starters have been able to join guilds for several years now. I use a free account to add my alts to my private guild. note they can't use the guild bank, unless that's changed this week.
Are starter account characters able to join party now?
Can you play Battle for Azeroth for Free now? (with a sub ofc)
