Good change. Tough "lately", its been going on for a long long time.
Seems ironic to make this change better late than never to a calendar.
with this solution i block all my friends inviting me for stuff. its a very bad solution
oh yes finally,this is great
Thank you Blizzard not sure if a dev or so reads this but thank you for listening.
i did notice that my more recent spam calendar invites are only charging $6.99 for heroic raid clears now instead of $29.99 which is pretty amusing
I don't use the calendar very much, since the friends that I raid and run dungeons with do both at established times known by everyone. I will have to open the calendar more to see if I have been receiving any invites for RMT services. What I was receiving several months back was mails in the in-game mailbox advertising RMT services. I reported every one of them. The mails stopped completely after a few weeks.
About time.
Odd, I've never once received a spam calendar invite. Playing since BC, only skipping Pandaland, Draenor and Legion.Sounds like many people are buying gold, guess they don't want mine.
Why not just ban the people who are obviously exploiting some bug in their system? I'm not a part of any communities and I do not have a ton of Randoms in my friends list / Guild. I should not get spammed with these on every one of my characters. Ban them, their frequently RMT, this is such as stupid fix when really Blizz is half assing it.
I had no idea this was a thing. I will say that the bots are certainly creative. I'm glad they are doing this, but to be honest it's more than a little disturbing how far scammers will go.
