you dont get the new items for season 2 for stygia i believe its the new currency
progress.
Oh blizzard has done it, this is game changing. (Sarcasm)
The anima reward is a joke.
Oh no no no blizzard. Don't you #$%^ing dare do this! 1k anima per token at least! You won't cheat us out like this! What @#$%ing cheap skates to give us 175 anima. They are really deaf to what the players want and the game needs
Idk why there is no Valor included in this, literally its the currency directly related to gear upgrades. Decisions like these make me thin monkeys would make better devs.
These amounts would only make sense if you get all 3 at once. Blizzard really wants people to grind for months so they extend their sub. These rewards are them laughing at us.
I like that we now have more options, but I do think the 175 anima is a little disappointing.
i guess this is pretty good for alts, do a mythic +1 and get 750 soul ash, pretty neat :D
Kinda wish the anima was a rounder number like 200, but still nice I guess. Funny to see people wanting to see so much more anima when it's primarily for cosmetic things.
Unpopular opinion to follow: A lot of you are complaining about the anima, but if you did just WQs for a couple weeks you could easily unlock enough of your sanctum to start making 3-5k anima per day per toon. I did the anima grind because there was nothing else to do and here's what I have left to buy: two pieces of my ember court set. Yes, that's it. I have all my sanctum upgrades and have had them all done for nearly a month. With the upgrades I was able to purchase everything anima related from the Venthyr renown quartermaster, and everything that wasn't rep gated from my ember court vender (I haven't hit exalted yet :( ) but I already have that anima banked. I haven't done a single WQ in nearly a week... because there's nothing for me to spend my anima on unless I was to swap covenants and start the grind over. Which I have considered. I also have already upgraded most of my sanctum from when I was still Kyrian (so I'd really just need to swap to NF or necro... and guess what, the extra anima boost from the achievement stays even when you swap... so I imagine SOULS will be my limiting factor if I want to unlock the other covenants sanctums) To be quite frank, the increased anima awards from the achievements has been game-changing, in the sense that one day of WQs can easily buy me a 5000 anima mount or a really expensive xmog piece. The 175x3 anima is so low because you should be able to get it from other sources. It's a "aw, you didn't get anything you wanted? Okay well, here's something that's probably worth more to you than 100g from vendoring the item." Blizzard doesn't need to hand yall everything. Unpopular opinion I know, but if you want the cool cosmetics and you want the mounts and you want the pets and toys and all the other sh1t, put in some work. It takes like 2 hours for me (a disc priest) to clear all WQs once a day. There's really not an anima drought, you people just aren't putting forth the effort to attain the rewards. It's as simple as that. Now, rant on anima over: I think this was a nice change. It's a little weird to put all these currencies in there, as all but the anima one are more or less becoming obsolete with the upcoming patch, but I suppose if you are a bit behind and you just really don't feel like doing Torghast, it's nice to get some soul ash to craft a new legendary or stygia if you don't want to do some weeklies but still are gunning for the mounts. More options are always good, but I'm unsure if it's truly that useful to many people.
